    I'm not able to repro on our Linux machine. We did do a QA migration yesterday so it appears this happened after that.
    Is anyone else out there having this issue?

    If you are able to, can you try again today and provide us with those results?

    I had this issue on my Linux box also. Downloaded both clients. While the production launcher was patching up, I started the QA launcher and it gave me an error saying Launcher was already running.
    On Windows this does not happen.

    I will try now to reproduce.

    Starting QA Launcher while R53 Launcher is running I get: Shroud of the Avatar - Launcher.x86_64 killed by SIGABRT

    @Kaffien
    I'm sorry, but can you take a look up above and see if what Feeyo reported is the same thing you are seeing?
    I want to make sure I understand your issue.

    The launcher I used was https://d2sx9mrt4zumaq.cloudfront.net/Installers/shroud-of-the-avatar-launcher-qa_1.1.0_amd64.deb
    It installs fine with dpkg -i shroud-of-the-avatar-launcher-qa_1.1.0_amd64.deb

    I try running from the icon (nothing happens)
    I tried running from the terminal and it a large black screen goes out, logs me out, but when i try to log back in the whole os is locked it seems.

    Done this a number of times now.

    I don't even get the sota artwork on the launcher. Perhaps I'm missing dependencies?

    I tried the .tgz version as well.

    The 64 bit one caused the same issue and logged me out. I was able to log in again though.
    I then tried running the 32 bit launcher has seemed to work, at 10KB/s Hopefully that speeds up.

    The 64 bit launcher seems to be the issue for me.

    What is happening to me is completely unrelated to Feeyo.

    He seems to have patched the game, I cannot even get the launcher / patcher to work properly.
    Until recently, so far the 32 bit one is the only one that doesn't log me out.

    The top speed seems to be 12KB/s for the QA Patcher.

    The actual speed of the connection is 40Mbps down and 40Mbps Up.

    Could we perhaps get a direct link to patch client 113? I'm not even at 1%

    I figured i'd try the steam client and switch to QA client. It would appear that the linux steam client doesn't seem to want to install the qaclient.
    I will report later. I'm not sure if its installing live or qaclient ... we'll see :)

    After installing on steam it relabeled the client qaclient once it was complete. The game launched, updates were completed rapidly.

    Sorry, I guess I have to read better to what your exact problem was. I misunderstood.
    @Kaffien The problem you have that the x64 does not work, I had this problem a week ago. What I did was use the x32 patcher, when the patcher was about 30% I stopped it. Launched the x64 version and it started working.

    What you can also do is use the command ldd to check for Launcher binary dependencies to see if it finds all the needed libs.

    Example:
    Code:
    ldd Shroud\ of\ the\ AvatarQA\ -\ Launcher.x86_64
        linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007fffbfdd4000)
        libdl.so.2 => /lib64/libdl.so.2 (0x00007f89595ea000)
        libpthread.so.0 => /lib64/libpthread.so.0 (0x00007f89593cb000)
        librt.so.1 => /lib64/librt.so.1 (0x00007f89591c3000)
        libGL.so.1 => /lib64/libGL.so.1 (0x00007f8958f37000)
        libX11.so.6 => /lib64/libX11.so.6 (0x00007f8958bf6000)

        libc.so.6 => /lib64/libc.so.6 (0x00007f8957ae3000)
        /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00007f89597ee000)

    Thank you. I've used steam instead. I will check the list of dependencies when I'm back at my other PC on Monday. For testing purposes.

    I'm not sure if it was a issue with the patcher itself, but i downloaded it again and it installed and ran no problemo.
    I check the dependencies as @Feeyo suggested and nothing was missing.

    I'm still curious as to why the patcher wants to run between 0 - 11 KB/s. I cannot even get to 1%.
    I've love to have both the Live and QA client installed at the same time.

    That being said, the original bug of the machine logging out every time i run the patcher seems to be put to rest.

    Things I've done to resolve the issue were uninstall the .deb file i had installed. Download the same version from the QA forum post.
    Reinstall the .deb file. Run the patcher.

    Good to hear it now patches at least.
    @Kaffien So to have both clients on my disk, I mostly use this method: (as i do not have a distro that is officially supported).
    I download the client (tgz) and QA client (tgz). Put those files in a directory, and extract the contents. And just run the Launcher binaries. So all data is being downloaded to the directory where extracted.
    Gives you more control on the clients.

    My issue is that none of the patchers want to get to 1% in linux, unless I use steam. Steam doesn't allow me to keep both at the same time.
