Release 55 Post Draft: Feedback Please

Here is a VERY early VERY rough draft of the Release 55 Instructions Post. Lots of stuff is still in progress, including the text itself, features, content, etc. Some things listed here are not yet in the build and might NOT make the release!

As always this thread is for editing the post itself, clarifying the contents, etc. It is NOT about debating game features, decisions, etc. Please start other threads for that.

Also as usual the links to instructions and known issues are pointing to R53 so I don't need to be told that.

I also don't need to be reminded about blank areas or places that say <insert more here> or are blank. I got those.

Also please DO NOT give feedback on the ORIGINAL text that I cut and paste from the Quarterly Schedule Post. As a rule we never edit the original text. We only put new text afterwards in italics. That way we make sure everyone knows we aren't hiding anything, especially if something is delayed.

Previous release announcement you could read :

Any new updates for R55 for this? Will it still be delayed or is it simply a feature you haven't added to the post draft yet? (It's actually the one I'm the most excited about so that's why I'm asking, just hoping it doesn't just gets forgotten like other things I was eager to see!)

Ruins of Ravensmoor was updated to 8+ in R54; is this the Ravensmoor entrance scene, or a copy/paste error?

Looks like a quote is missing after "insurance". (Also, this seems to be the first/only daily repeatable quest, and its an extortion racket. Ugh. I guess it should help folks who can't keep their Shroud black, but...)

Are these recipes, patterns, both? Where are they learned?

What about R54 delayed items? Are these not rescheduled for the next release?

 

And what about the Pipe Organ mentioned in “Standup Corner” last month? Thanks

@DarkStarr Will we see the rest of the missing Pledge Rewards for purchase in Offline Mode? If not, is this coming soon?

 

Did i miss something about archery update or was that an "maybe we think about that" regarding str having more influence on ranged weapons. (if it is already done i did not notice...)

 

I am really excited to see the Greenhouse storefront Shop. As my Birthday is June 25th I think I will have to treat myself to a new looking shop. (Ok a few days later than the birthday, but that is my excuse for the purchase) ROFL

 

I thought Chris already added Str bonus to all the crossbows that were missing it. I'm not sure there was anything beyond that planned.

 

On the casks - I'd bet Recipes to craft them. Patterns if you want to apply heraldry to them.

 

Possibly; there could be a single cask recipe and then patterns for what the symbol is on it, but more likely these are separate recipes. Either way, it should be noted in the instructions.

 

Don't these have 2 symbols? one on the side for the type of Drink then one on the end for Heraldry?

 

Doubtful. They've shown pictures of 3 distinct casks (by color and symbol) which would be the recipes (Wine, Beer, Whiskey). If it is a single recipe with a pattern for the liquor symbol and color - then you'd have to be able to apply a 2nd pattern to add Heraldry...

 

Aw, I hate those symbols on the side. Somebody needs to take away the devs' Kobold Clockwork Label Maker.

 

Like I said, I really don't care how its implemented, just pointing out changes that should be made to the instructions.

 

Most likely they will be Symbols included in the pattern... Color maybe is the Wood used... then the Pattern Heraldry could be added on top.
