Details: I finally found Shandy Chapman on the road in the Perennial Coast. I went up to him, and he disappeared. I did not enter a scene with him. Time passed while typing this report, and a bandit encounter has appeared after the time out. Hey, wouldn't you know it? The bandit pulled me into a scene. I've got to go.
Steps to Reproduce: Try to engage Shandy Chapman.

And one this morning. This time at a different spawn point for the boy. Now 5 for 5 on not entering the scene. What's up? Am I scaring the boy? I was in my "About Town" clothes to not look as threatening-- if that was it.

I've gotten the same thing as well a few times, could this be connected with the use of the same NPC (Traveler) on the overworld map being used for the Atavist Encounters in Grunvald?

 

it was used for the duck enthusiast before either of those, haven't seen any complaints about that one (although that's not actually proof)

 

Just confirmed this is still bugged - the Traveler spawns on the Overworld map, but when you get near him, he disappears and there is no scene load.
