I right clicked on a poison potion and applied it to my bow, but the skill has not increased, and it won't allow me to drag the poison weapon skill to the bar like with other skills.

You need to place a poison potion of any kind to your hotbar, not the Poison Weapon skill. When you use the poison potion, the skill will gain (assuming you have it set to "training").

It would be awesome to have some animation of the poison dripping off the weapons when applied to them.

Most weapons do. They'll probably add it to bows when they have the time.

They don’t have the animation of it dripping off the weapon, but poisoned arrows leave a trail of green mist behind them

What I was referring to was the animation of poison dripping off the bow, specifically.

So sorry for your forced rebirth ;)

which hotbar......the passive bar is kind of useless in combat .........like there is time to find your mouse and drag it onto the glyph and keypress. So far I can only put poison onto my passive bar. The poison potions don;'t even show up in the left window of the deck builder.

Try Ctrl + the number. I usually have poisons in hotbar spots 8-0 so when I want to poison I press Ctrl + 8-0 to use. This is even easier if you have a smart mouse with 1-0 for the thumb buttons. I use a Venus MMO mouse which works really well. It even has a second smaller left click button you can set a '1' and put and your dynamic attacks in... no more pressing 1 or using the cursor arrow, just click click click click.

It doesn't drip, but when you fire the poisoned arrow, it shows a green glowing vapor trail.
