It's about time for the first casks of whiskey to be opened. Has anyone done the math on if whiskey remains profitable?

I would like to see brewing come back, but with the beer/wine nerfs can only hope. Any word from the devs on updates to reflect fair pricing?

I think the 2 year whiskey is 10 each. Don't really know if that's profitable.

Yes Whiskey has good profit. See my spreadsheet under my Brewing guide for detail.
Beer/Ale and Wine are a lost in profit at the current release.

Last I read, DarkStarr said they would look at capping inventory item limits to work around what ever problem that caused so they can put beer and wine prices back to their original profitable amounts. I'm still not really clear on that issue, but I would like to see beer and wine brewing be a profitable venture as it looked to be when it launched.

I thought that got fixed in R56.

Still can't place the Geistesser, so maybe not.

It's sad that there always has to be some scammer looking for a way to "game it"

I guess they need more time to fix the bug.

It would be cool if we could be like revenue agents and bust up stills and stuff with our hand axes.

Or they can just leave inventory space alone and let brewing timers only count if placed on a lot, not in inventory or bank or inside any other container.

That would makes too much sense like farming. Then again common sense is a luxury.

Are we able to relabel our casks and number them or give them names like we can our equipment chests?

Yes, once the cask is mature, you can rename it like a chest. You do need to open it once first before you can rename it though.
