anyone else not wear their shroud of the avatar cloaks

I don't like it because it covers up the heraldry on my chest armor. *sighs*

 

If they would allow me to dye it, I would wear it!

 

I like it too. It's one of the best looking cloaks ingame though picky about which other clothing/armor it goes with.

 

No, I haven't worn my Shroud since the negative stats were implemented. I wear a Worn Cloak because I like it better than the other choices.

 

You can dye it... black. Just be naughty.

I dont wear it cuz the oracle gave it to me and i dont trust the oracle.

 

Isn’t it the only item that fills that slot that can give you anything besides +1Dmg resistance. They really just need to let us enchant backpacks,quivers, and crafted cloaks like they do rings. At least then we could make something compatible that we would want to wear.

 

I stopped because I got tired of looking like everyone else and I'm not anal about min/max gameplay so can care less about the bonuses I can get through other means or don't need.

It was cool at first, but, yeah, I value my individuality more than a stat boost.

 

I like it except for 2 things that kinda irk me.

1: The visual effect. I'm not a fan of the glowy face.
2: It's a supposed to be a unique one of a kind item... that everyone has.

That and I also value my individualism more than my stats.

 

I can't wear mine, I didn't earn it yet.

 

Honestly, the final stretch towards getting it, Path of the Oracle (note: I did enjoy certain story elements from 3 initial paths - especially once you encounter Titans) was the most enthralled I was of all the quest content. If anything, for that final path it is worth doing, but completely understand if you're waiting for more more polish or even the new journal promised long term for E2.

 

The Shroud does not go well with my Viking attire or armor. I prefer not to be a glowing Viking. Hence the negative stats as well on a White Shroud.

 

they were nice, before the global speed debuff. Sadly, as only item with stats even with the downsides its 'better than nothing'. I strongly dislike that as a mage I essentially had to 'game' the virtue system to not get penalized in my primary stat - not a fan of the virtue linked gear, particularly when its the only option for that slot. Looking forward to mw/enchantable backpieces.
