Why do dragons here have no arms? Is it an UO thing? In the fantasy of my mind I always imagined dragons to have arms to hoard their gold and Wyverns being an inferior creature without arms.

I think that these types of dragons are considered more "Western."

But in terms of having an actual dragon as a pet (Which I would absolutely love), the way I would do it is to make it the final end game goal. However in order to do so, a player would have to find and tame a baby dragon (I'd assume they'd always be guarded by their mama and papa dragons) and tamers having to care for and raise it. To make it balanced, I'd assume that it would have to be one of the weaker dragons, such as the ones during the dragon invasion event that were much smaller than normal.

You don't need a pet dragon, you have Wyverns now - they look practically the SAME!

Except that Wyverns are weaker than larger rehashed Obsidian Bears that look the exact same as their lesser counterparts down the line. Dragons are much larger, have a different head and spine design, and can breathe fire.

Okay, okay... you can have your dragon pets... if they grow some arms first! lol

So about those bears rehashed, I can look past that because they are the same species after all, or at most a subspecies; but Dragons and Wyverns! - An entirely different species (one with arms and one without as far as I'm concerned! hahaha)

well, when you start FEEDING a huge mean reptile that can blow fire, i think you MAY be "tamed"... kinda like how we feed cats...it shows us that we are mere minions to their graceful cruelty!
