I just noticed in the patch notes that we will get a book that will allow us to completely refund a skill tree or all our skills.

Out of pure curiosity will you be changing your skills? If so what are you changing?

No, but it would be nice to be able to keep the book to use AFTER release 61.

Not me - there's a few that I wouldn't want to have to GM again - yes water elemental, I'm thinking of you.. although I guess with Apprenticeship and an Obsidian Potion of Guidance.. might not be so bad the 2nd time.

No way - it has taken me since persistence to get a character that's halfway decent. Not doing that again!

Haven't decided. I think you might be able to wipe a whole tree and not everything though, so I might do that.

But I think it's mainly aimed at people that got some way in as an X and totally don't like that and quit, so they can quickly try Y instead.

takes me long enough to spend 124 mil exp with mentoring and guidance pot, I do not want to find out how long it will take to spend 2.5 billion, but I bet those first skills would rise hella fast LOL.

My initial reaction was "heck yeah I will!", but after looking at my character I noticed vast majority of the "bad" skills I don't want are level 80 or under. Those aren't taking too much xp -- certainly not worth the time it'll take to redo my whole character from scratch.

I do want to try out other specializations, so I think I'll just buy a couple tombs of unlearning instead.

I would, if materials used to gain these skills were refunded as well (not possible I know). I'd definitely give up my Enchantment skills if that were the case: Invested literally -days- in training them and mining for the gold ore, plus insane amounts of IGG and real money. Now I never use the skills as the outcome is so unpredictable I end up with tons of enchanted crap that nobody wants.

It's a great idea, though, and I'll definitely have a sharp look at all my skill trees to see if I want to use this great opportunity to fix some mistakes.

But they are saying crafting spec will get rid of the rng, so if you can hold off till then, you will not have to deal with that unpredictability.

I don't know if my avatar is even halfway decent but there's no way that I'm dumping all that work.

I will remove my fire tree and move it to archery or maybe just add all xp to taming...

As far as adventuring skills, I don't have much that's wasted. If rumors about crafting changes are true, I'd probably want to change those skills.

I would hope they offer a book for adventure and one for crafting as some of us may not want to fully respec both sides. Id hate to lose all that time put into silver or gold ore and the costs.
