Does anyone know if the Linux SSL issues were completely fixed? I'd really like to switch back to Fedora from Ubuntu.

Not fixed, but a workaround yes.

I can live without the map. I'll probably switch back anyway.

Hey, Do yourself a favor and play SotA on VK. I am running it now and it runs pretty good. :)

VK is a virtual keyboard? Russian social media?

Heraldry stopped working and I was about to freak out but then I remembered that heraldry is also affected by the SSL issue. :(

Did anyone ever figure out why this is happening and if there's a workaround? I don't mind having to agree to the EULAs everytime I log in and not being able to use the in-game map but not being able to see heraldry is a real bummer.

I haven't had problems with the EULA popping up every time, but sometimes the in game map decides to randomly stop working for me.

I don't know if it's the same issue or a different one, though.

As a question, is Shroud of the Avatar built with the Unity3D experimental Vulkan launch option?

Yes but it crashes on launch.

It works for me. Still, for me there are some visual glitches and some effects apply wrong. (For instance, the depth of field creates an excessive motion blur.) However, performance is slightly better, and there is substantially less lag.

p.s. This is all to be expected on a render path marked "experimental" that is optimized from the ground up. Dota 2 and Serious Sam Fusion had similar experiences. If it follows other Vulkan ports, performance should to improve over time, particular on shader load stutter and stable framerate. Some of the improvements will make it back to the OpenGL and Direct3D stacks as the insights provided by Vulkan performance feedback tools are used to improve the high level shader source code and early stage shader pipeline source code.
