Here is an early rough draft of the Release 62 Instructions Post. Lots of stuff is still in progress, including the text itself, features, content, etc. Some things listed here are not yet in the build and might NOT make the release!

As always this thread is for editing the post itself, clarifying the contents, etc. It is NOT about debating game features, decisions, etc. Please start other threads for that.

Also as usual the links to instructions and known issues are pointing to R60 so I don't need to be told that. :)

I also don't need to be reminded about blank areas or places that say <insert more here> or are blank. I got those. :)

Also please DO NOT give feedback on the ORIGINAL text that I cut and paste from the Quarterly Schedule Post. As a rule we never edit the original text. We only put new text afterwards in italics. That way we make sure everyone knows we aren't hiding anything, especially if something is delayed. ;)

For a better understanding it would be good to describe the properties more precisely :)
    POT Row Lot Deed
PA Village Lot Deed [--> if the entry was right: SOTA-63494Upgrade Oracle's "Finish Story" reward to Place Anywhere Village Deed (Taxed)]

It's a POT Village lot Deed, the entry is incorrect.

Can this be clarified as to whether or not it applies to all deed types (I.e., founder & benefactor TF PA deeds as well)?

That is the original quarterly text, which they don't update per:
(Not saying it was worded well in that post, but it won't be changed.)

Perhaps "These cannot yet be tamed, but this will be added in a future release."

Can patterns be used across types? For example, I want the Move Rate of wings, but want them to look like a quiver? If not, this should be noted here, "They also now use the Patterns system; each back slot type can be applied to items of the same type." or something to that effect.

Glad to see The Clink get some love!

    • Lot Deed Quest Rewards: .... You can only get a single lot deed per account.

Suggest changing the wording here - this topic was being discussed during Laz & Jack's lunch show, and a player was confused by this.. thinking it was a contradiction to now obtaining a village deed also.

Also - both deeds can be DESTROYED - so might want a little note in there about that also.

Perhaps switch it to say something like .. "You can only obtain these lot deed quest rewards once per account - they are not repeatable and the deeds can be permanently destroyed if desired - do not destroy them - you can't get another"

    Could likely use some clarification.
Are we getting a Row Lot deed after completing the first Outskirt quest line, which is then Upgraded to a Village Lot deed after the completion of the main quest line?
If so, is the upgrade Automatic?
Do we return to the Outskirts quest giver to claim the Row Lot Deed?
Do we return to the Oracle to have the Row Lot Deed Upgraded?
    Or
Are we getting one Row Lot deed after the completion of the first Outskirts quest line, and a second Village Lot deed after the completion of the Main quest line?
If so, what is the procedure for getting the second deed?

    @Rufus D`Asperdi

Answering to try and take some load off DS - based on my QA testing:

Are we getting a Row Lot deed after completing the first Outskirt quest line, which is then Upgraded to a Village Lot deed after the completion of the main quest line?
    - a 2nd deed (Taxed Village POT ) is awarded after completing the main quest line

    Or

Are we getting one Row Lot deed after the completion of the first Outskirts quest line, and a second Village Lot deed after the completion of the Main quest line?
    - Yes - 2nd deed is awarded upon completion.

If so, what is the procedure for getting the second deed?
    - Talk to the Oracle at a confirmatory - and you will be given the 2nd deed

    Thanks for the clarification...
Some more explanation of the particulars might be appropriate for the Release Instructions... which was my primary point.

Right you are! Though your response highlights that he is linking to Q4 2018 instead of Q1 2019 in the notes.

This links to Q4, it should like to Q1 2019 instead. https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/forum/index.php?threads/q1-2019-schedule-update.147892/

(I see we didn't catch this in the R61 post either.)

@DarkStarr, according to the patch notes for 894, released today, the extra time to prepay taxes was increased. The release notes don’t reflect this status the way the other ones do, ie. patched in release 61.

The same for upgrading lot deeds, it was patched in today.

I would like clarification on paid taxes. Prior to the new tax changes i paid for my taxes ahead 3 months. At the time of the update on the taxes i was at 72 days. Now that my taxes are lower will the amount of days increase according to what i had paid in advance. If so at 72 days prior it should now be 144 days with the tax change. If not then that is not right to extend my tax days since they were paid ahead of time before the release. Need to know if i am gonna get more days or my gold back for pre paid taxes. If not....then not too happy about the change and being robbed of the gold i already paid at old tax rate.

I do not believe there is any way for the game to "know" when a person paid taxes (i.e., prior/after tax change) or how "much" they paid, so they can't simply double the rate. It's unfortunately a change anyone who paid out taxes will have to accept.

I'm not seeing any new Recipes or Blueprints on Booksellers, for more player made dungeon pieces? Possibly this was possibly part of the plan, but will not get in?

Could the draft show the benefits that each summon/pet is getting from the release? There seems to be some confusion as to what benefits they are getting, both from effectiveness changes and the specializations.
