Here is an early rough draft of the Release 63 Instructions Post. Lots of stuff is still in progress, including the text itself, features, content, etc. Some things listed here are not yet in the build and might NOT make the release!

As always this thread is for editing the post itself, clarifying the contents, etc. It is NOT about debating game features, decisions, etc. Please start other threads for that.

Also as usual the links to instructions and known issues are pointing to R62 so I don't need to be told that. :)

I also don't need to be reminded about blank areas or places that say <insert more here> or are blank. I got those. :)

Also please DO NOT give feedback on the ORIGINAL text that I cut and paste from the Quarterly Schedule Post. As a rule we never edit the original text. We only put new text afterwards in italics. That way we make sure everyone knows we aren't hiding anything, especially if something is delayed. ;)

    remove comma

    remove comma

change to "available", otherwise it looks like the buffs themselves actually last that long

replace these hyphens with spaces. hyphens are appropriate if using a phrase as an adjective: "Player-Made Dungeon encounters" IS correct

    all one sentence: ..."cash, so..."

    your

    commas

    commas

    comma

If crown conversions is in the next release, you might want to be careful when listing the lot deed crown values.

Also, the part where you say $800 to upgrade town will cost 800 crowns.

You might add some clarification for what "component items" are in the crown store.

Is the name of the item "Trident" or "Basic Trident"? If the former, you can make basic lowercase. You might also want to mention how these are obtained, so for example "As of R63, you will find Pitchforks and basic Tridents (craftable by players), an Ornate Trident (available in the Crown Shop), and the Daemon Trident (a rare and powerful artifact)."

In-game, this is "Crown Shop" so we should be consistent when referring to it.

Should these sections be adjusted with the x100 Crown values? Separation of values instead of just a trailing number would be good as well. Also, could you use a heading inbetween the groups, to make it easier to see where they break? For example:
    • Lot Deed Upgrade with Crowns Costs (Patched R62): Each lot deed has an associated Crowns of the Obsidians value. The total cost to upgrade from one deed to another is the difference in the Crown value between deeds. The deeds below are also in "Category" order. Deeds from a lower category can be upgraded to a higher one, but not the other way around. This also excludes the Founder deed category which can not be upgraded to.
      • Player Owned Town Deeds
        • Player Owned Town Row Lot Deed (no trade) - 900 crowns
        • Player Owned Town Village Lot Deed (no trade) - 2,900 crowns
        • Player Owned Town Row Lot Deed - 2,900 crowns
        • Player Owned Town Village Lot Deed - 5,900 crowns
        • Player Owned Town Town Lot Deed - 14,900 crowns
        • Player Owned Town City Lot Deed - 39,900 crowns
        • Player Owned Town Keep Lot Deed - 99,900 crowns
        • Player Owned Town Castle Lot Deed - 199,900 crowns
      • Place Anywhere Deeds
        • ...list...
      • Player Owned Town Water Deeds
        • ...list...
      • Tax Free Player Owned Town Deeds
        • ...list...
      • Tax Free Place Anywhere Deeds
        • ...list...
      • Founder Deeds
        • ...list...

This should be in boldface to make it harder to skim over. It's kind of the most important part of the whole upgrade process.

I am just worried about being able to apply poisons 3 times with the trident.

It probably has a -60% poison effectiveness. That's what they did to Fiona's triple crossbow in order to un-fun it.

but that dont hinder dark unicorn poison at all, still going to be ripping off 3 buffs per hit.

clarify: lord subtleton's post did not say it was returning to previous functionality, it said

previous functionality would be no longer forcing multi, but allowing people to choose multi or private. subtleton's post suggests forcing private.

It seems that there aren't multiple different rooms this release, but only the Lich Room from the Fall is going to be available with the totems and encounters.

Just read the part about Sieges 80 - 100

sorry but what developer thinks this is needed, an WHY, yes full explanation required as to the problem you perceive you are fixing, and how this fixes it.

I am going to say this

Skill capping any part of this game is a mistake, needed to for PvP because of balance (bad planning) sure but PVE, NOT A CHANCE. I work hard for my skillz and do NOT grind UT to get them. I use them and need them, limiting them is a complete kick in the ballz. You promised no skill caps. YOU screwed up, decay - no decay, fix the problem do not limit players.

    did I yell sure did.

and player wounder why there are article like this out there?

Im totally against skillcap in pve, create an alternative to high end players with a t8+ siege.. But caping pve will make me and others stop playing this game

I agree 100 percent, T-7 and up added areas with resources to match and that will lower UT glut. I spent many hours and not in UT to get Blades to 150 to have negated by a PVE skill cap. Give us an endgame instead where we can make our time investment pay off.

While I am at it, please fix the pirate gear. Boris has both eyes and hands.

There are three other threads about caps and/or multiplayer. Take the comments there.

Since it appears Ronin and Kinga are going to get rumors of this, you might want to point folks to them as the source. "Kinga and Ronin, in Brittany Castle, say he was..." It also helps that all seasonal bosses start with them.

    Two spaces before "so".
