    Ok, so people who have invested the time to level up their skills are then being penalized for doing so? That's... brilliant.

    Level capping makes sense for PvP, it does not for PvE. In essence, it's undoing the hard work that people put into their avatars. I can't think of much else that would turn people off from this game faster than that.

    This 100%. Right now I play 3-4 different zones in the game sieges being one. Level capping PVE zones really feels like a huge turn around in the no hard caps philosophy and if this becomes a trend I can only see even the loyal people giving up.

    A multiplayer game that is actually a single player game. We are never going to have a flourishing population in this anti social game.

    Why not let the town owners decide how their sieges are setup? they paid the money for the town afterall....

    Making level caps in for pvp zones is fine (as long as it's not all of them) but adding level caps to pve fights is not ok. Please DO NOT START LEVEL CAPPING PVE ZONES. Yhe biggest problem with this, is it will not stop here. It will go to all the places that people farm and knock everyone to this level or that level. That is not how this game should be played played. I don't want to unlearn skill and move them around to maximize my ability to handle ONE zone. This will be the new fix for all zones that "too many people are farming" UT will be next, but it will not stop there. As people start finding a place to farm that isn't cap nerfed, the new "high volume" places will then become nerfed. And this will be a downward cycle till no-one want to level any more, because what's the point. Also it's lazy

    Sieges in build 809: AL is capped at 80, skills are capped at 100, no open multiplayer.

    Everyone can now safely ignore sieges. Just click the bypass button and do something else.

    All enconters are private.
    The problem with capping is, there are the devotional quests and the quest to clear a siege. Not only the daily quest.

    @native speakers: What 'in respect to multiplayer' means in this case?
    That the private/party siege with group enforcement has respect for(of/to) the multiplayer mode?
    or
    May, that capping is temporary until enconters are also available in open mode?

    Random Encounters are set to "party only" which means you can play by yourself, or with a party, but you can never meet strangers in a random encounter. Sieges now use the same rules.

    I think this and the cap thing are exactly the part that are making everyone so upset.

    We have passed from forced multiplayer to forced private, sounds pretty bad in both ways.

    Correction the cap part is bs, single player and party mode isn’t a issue for me.

    Is it fair forcing someone to a specific mode in adventuring scenes?

    Again I’ve no issue with that element I can only speak for me on both accounts.

    #capsarestupid this game was advertised and sold on a soft cap concept. If you have 100 million xp and dump it into fire you are weak in everything but fire if they cap it then you are at a severe disadvantage. Also it’s a dbl punishment on people who play the game the most. Screw that!

    Many scenes force this. All RE's enforce this. Sieges are simply going back to how they were originally designed, as being an RE.

    Sieges were multiplayer/party/single from the first day they were introduced to the game.

    So is very very bad forcing single player people to multiplayer mode, but when is the opposite is all good for you? Seriously?
