    There was a page showing a screenshot with the male, buff, blonde Avatar being named Ravida. Does anyone know what that's about and who Ravida was, if at all, IRL? I've often wondered.

    I can't find 'Ravida' anywhere in the Ultima VI manual, or any online reference connecting a name to the Avatar. Would you have a screenshot by chance?

    i also didn't see any Ravida in the Ultima 6 manual.. but i noticed this:

    if black pearl is that rare (1 in 10k oysters), then something is wrong with the current game where a teleport scroll requires 10 black pearls to make -_-

    The cataclysm yeah! That's it.. turned all the pearls black! (either that or we only ever see 1 in 10k oysters in the world. :) )

    Don't recall anything explicitly saying the avatar on that image was Ravida, but the player ref card for Ultima 6 certainly uses that name for the 'example' avatar they show - https://mocagh.org/origin/utrilogy2-refcard.pdf

    That's a very good question for the next livestream with R64 :)

    @Lord British - please tell us, who was/is Ravida? As mentioned in Ultima VI ... was it just 'a' name? Or was it related to a special person?

    I don't recall a Ravida among the people that were the source for most all of the other character names... but that was a long time ago.
    I saw Dupre just a couple weeks ago.

    On a completely different subject; I loved Ultima 6. Although, I don't think I ever completed the main quest. I was too busy cornering the market on cotton and butter.
