    We just did about 12 encounters and no merchant. Atavist, skeleton, bandit, troll.

    No thank you.

    I'll take my merchants in a travellers wagon on the world map now, thanks.

    I did one troll encounter yesterday for the trollnails and got the peasant clothing merchant. I have no interest in peasant clothing.

    I was looking for young black dragon and found a sculptor merchant in hidden vale. Red Sash Bandit encounter.

    Also in other encounters I got the survey quest and the bounty hunter quest.

    Not necessarily. I had one (plains road traveler) on the road just north of Eastmarch. It turned out to be a pumpkin head encounter. I should have bugged it. The pumpkin head helpers attacked me with scythes, but dropped morningstars.

    Just do overland encounters you can clear very fast. And then see if someone shows up. Exit. Repeat.

    I can kill the 2 trolls fairly quickly. And then see if an NPC appears. Unfortunately that encounter is camped central....

    The bandit one is also pretty fast to clear.

    They are still random. Though I *seem* to be getting more Bounty Hunters more often. But, the others show up as well.

    We've gotten both the Sculpture and the Peasant Clothing vendors in stag, skel, and troll encounters.
    @Vladamir Begemot You do know you have to kill whatever "great danger" arrives before the vendors appear, right ?

    I did lots of encounters but I still couldn't find peasant clothing merchant :(

    I was hoping to get the statue one since we're trying to deco with in game only stuff and for some reason I can't craft them... but still, regarding clothing, if you can count one in almost 20 as lucky, then:
