Here is an early rough draft of the Release 68 Instructions Post. Lots of stuff is still in progress, including the text itself, features, content, etc. Some things listed here are not yet in the build and might NOT make the release!

As always this thread is for editing the post itself, clarifying the contents, etc. It is NOT about debating game features, decisions, etc. Please start other threads for that.

Also as usual the links to instructions and known issues are pointing to R67 so I don't need to be told that. :)

I also don't need to be reminded about blank areas or places that say <insert more here> or are blank. I got those. :)

Also please DO NOT give feedback on the ORIGINAL text that I cut and paste from the Quarterly Schedule Post. As a rule we never edit the original text. We only put new text afterwards in italics. That way we make sure everyone knows we aren't hiding anything, especially if something is delayed. ;)

    • Tartarus: Our newest high level dungeon went into live testing in Release 66 with an unofficial release (no actual entrance) and then an entrance from the Fall dungeon was added in Release 67. NOTE: Due to some internal miscommunication we did not add it to the Release 67 Instructions.
The entrance for Tartarus is in the Rise, unless more than one entrance was added.

Chris talked about adding a resistance % buff to heavy armor (absorption) allowing it to possibly reaching 90%. Is this simply not added yet or is it not making it in R68?

Also, there was mention of a Destroyer version Arctic Wolf (in patch 1008), was this a mistake and it was a ferocious one or you forgot to mention it?

Maybe "Tenant is now a lot access level (just below kindred) instead of a separate permissions mode." ? Play mode makes me think of the old SPO/MPO settings.

Not sure what stacking constraints are, but perhaps this was the ability to stack on other people's tables etc. It's just not clear what the constraints were (any time I've had a tenant they had the whole house).

    @DarkStarr,
Chris has already done Taming system expansions and also expanded permissions for containers and doors are in game now.

    Will there be more expansions?
If so, I assume, they are further game improvements of Episode 1 and not especially extensions for Episode 2?
So maybe they should be added to the 'rest of 2019' information?

--> Taming system expansions, Customizable NPCs, and expanded permissions for containers and doors! <--

To make it more clear, it would be good to have clear information, which content exactly is EPISODE 2 content.

Because every new content (including Taming system expansions and expanded permissions for containers and doors) can be used by everybody, it can't count as Episode 2 content ...

So only content which can be used only with "Early Access for Episode 2" can count as Episode 2 content:

    • new lands
    • new story
    • a revamp of the Quest and Journal system
    • a Theater System
    • Treasure Hunting with treasure maps that show up as loot
    • Item Affinity (Whatever that means?)
    • Customizable NPCs?
