Would you pay gold or cotos to purchase another quest reset allotment?

So I think I understand why you are only limited to a single quest reset,
I figure it is to prevent some type of exploit you could pull by abusing it.

So if you can't stop that, perhaps there could be a way to purchase a quest reset allowance with gold or cotos?

Sometimes you just want a do over, or you make the wrong decision and want to try another route...

I actually would like this option. But the most likely reason we only get one free reset, is the massive amounts of adventure and crafting xp from finishing the Chapter 1 quest.

The only possible option I could think of, is after you have used your one time quest reset, after 1 (or possibly 2) earth years, you then could get one more quest reset.

Waiting an entire year I feel would be adequate, personally.

This would also finally address the people with older accounts that have already used their one time quest reset and still have stuck blue markers that won’t clear, as well as several various issues.

And with a quest reset everything you received for doing those quests should revert, right?

Repeated quest resets sounds too exploitable for Episode 1 main story XP.

I'd rather see the devs simply reuse the same game assets (e.g., the crypts scenes) by sending us back into them for other quest reasons, quests that cannot be started until the main story is completed.

I mean, the devs already have made wonderful assets for those scenes. Why not reutilize them for another round of quests. Even if its as simple as collecting special mushrooms or something.

I hear you about missteps. While doing the main questline, I made sure to click all the keywords in order to make sure that I got all the information. One of those keywords was "Avatar". I assumed that clicking this keyword was simply asking about avatars but when I obtained The Dirae Prophecy of Edvard, it included this section:
This upsets me on several levels but the fact remains that it has no real impact on the game, so don't worry too much about what's in that book.

humility in the final prophecy has nothing to do with what you clicked. it's based on you adv level when you finish.

Is that true? What relevancy does that have to the virtue of Humility? Is it better to be a higher or lower level then?

yes, i don't know, grr, that is lum. it is better to be lower. apparently a high level means you're not humble, even though it's not something you can lower.

i had ideas on things that would be easy to check for that would be relevant, but he did not want to hear them.

That's unfortunate, since you really need to be a higher level to be even remotely viable towards the end of the story. This metric really needs to be rethought.

It would also be nice for the Dirae Book to update much like your shroud does, predicated on your actions. I have no idea how difficult this would be to implement though.

Then why does it say this?
I'm currently adventurer level 119. How much am I going to be persecuted for that in episode 2?

I would appreciate a FREE quest reset at the moment, the NEW quest system / Journal overhaul is done to ENJOY it how it should have been the first time :)
Okay: I would pay a few Gold Crowns ;)

Yes. Every single Quest Item is completely removed from your character and some amount of your virtue is changed. Also all quests and markers are wiped out.

If you happen to still have your one free quest reset available, just give it a try on qa right now. I do that all the time.

I wouldn't reset Sean, I'll just run it through later with a different account at some point. I hate redoing stuff on a character if I don't have too.
Time is precious! Thanks for the clarification.

Just the quest items or would this additional reset remove quest rewards as well?

If I remember it's also all the quest rewards. You get it all again, once you run through it again. Honestly to me, it would be a pain in the rear to have to reset the row and village lots.

it only takes the gold quest items in your inventory. that's why they're locked to your inventory. any deco you have placed stays.
