    Cannibalism can be in a game, in this case, an incredibly well reviewed game:

    Now, he's playing a mod that makes him a cannibal, but it looks like cannibals exist as a faction in the base game, and they will eat you.

    Meh.. cannibalism has been in SotA to an extent since the beginning. Just drink a healing potion. :p

    Also in RimWorld which has been sucking my life away for weeks now.

    Dunno. LB's been pushing for it for the entire project, Darkstarr appears to think it would sink the game. Most likely it'd go unnoticed, but at this point any news it drummed up would be good news.

    Everything is conceivable - but is it necessary?
    Isn't it enough that we can use rotting flesh for cloaks and belts?

    What would it be good for?
    Well, just one more aspect for a strange taste - the next one after fish masks ...

    I don't see any win for the game.

    And I'm still wondering why a healing potion should include corpse wax? ;)

    Maybe from the point of view of a necromancer ;)
    Probably a reason, why I don't use those potions ...

    Maybe, if I would eat the (dead) eyes of an eagle I wouldn't need glasses anymore?

    Setting any merits (or lack thereof) aside, corpse wax isn't even water soluble.

    For me, it's matter of how you handle the subject. The way LB did in UO I would argue was not good handling of the idea. There were no consequences and it was treated more or less like an everyday thing. One of my gripes with corpse wax in healing potions.. setting aside that it was (my understanding of it) meant to be a place holder ingredient.. it is still there today after all this time and you see/hear absolutely nothing about it from the citizens. It's ho hum whatever. But most societies would be revolted by the idea. It's certainly not in-line with the virtues.. using death of others for your own benefit etc.

    People say "it's just a game' but what they don't realize is.. it's NEVER "just a game". Whatever the game, it's something we invest in. It's how we spend our personal time to relax and unwind. We want to enjoy it. It's our personal experience in the privacy of our own homes (usually). Could go on... :)

    Conan Exiles has cannibals as an npc and you can harvest any human body and get human flesh to cook and eat or even eat raw.

    Ok, constant murder of humanoids and animals is fine. Killing zombie children is fine. All the other horrors and violence is fine. But we stop at cannibalism? Seriously guys?

    Cannibalism has been in SoTA since I've been playing. It's a GAME. It's not REAL
