Yeah. Anyway, I bought ESO today. I'm not "bailing" on SotA, but it's just not very fun for me right now.

I've gone over the R74 release notes at least 3x but nothing on any archery nerf - did i miss something?

That the ring of fire was nerfed was pretty obvious - lots of very high level fire mages are up in arms :)

I don't think that archery received any nerfs in R74... yet.

    Eh, nonsense.
I am still archering and deathmagiking around. Both 2 of the most NURFD trees this game has, at least according to the audience.
I can't even see a difference from NURF to NURF. Either I am that good (which i sincerly doubt) or the NURFS aren't as bad as some people want the rest of the people to believe.
This is an pseudo-mmo. There will be constant adjustments to skilltree powerlevels.

My good ol' wow n8elf rogue for example. What I play today in wow has NOTHING in common with what I played in vanilla. If I would have complaint about every precieved or real nerf this class has gone through I would have died from a stroke.

Glad you're having fun. Not everyone enjoys frequent and destabilizing changes to their characters.

When it comes to MMORPG change the less you have and less often you have it the better, in my view. Having some confidence that what you will end up with over time is what you were striving for is rather helpful in maintaining player interest and investment. If you are instead uncertain such will be so, motivation can be hard to maintain.

WoW has changed a lot. It also has a much smaller population than it once did, and I have seen countless posts lamenting the loss of what was and derision for what is. Change isn't necessarily welcome or beneficial... or universally accepted. Some will leave when they no longer find the dish they are being served palatable.

Change should be avoided as much as possible and otherwise done with great care.
