Novia Market Fish House Bounties!

The Novia Market Fish House is now open for business! All anglers are encouraged to stop on by and check out the bounties posted on the bulletin board (bounties will be posted weekly/bi-weekly/monthly as they are fulfilled). There are currently 4 bounties up (I may put up more as the week goes on).

Rules are as follows (and are posted on the bulletin board):

1. Fulfill a bounty by mailing your catch to Robyn Hood. First person to mail the required bounty will get the reward (unless it is a time based bounty - in which case the winner will be determined after the specified time has passed). I will return fish that do not win by mail. All other fish will be preserved for posterity in the Novia Market Fish House and put on display.

2. Water type will rotate every 2 days. There is also a dungeon on the second floor (look for the glowing tome along the back hallway) with 8 fishing grottos (4 Ancient, 4 Icy) that can be used to fetid/fresh at any time, no matter what the water type is set to up top.

3. Unfulfilled bounties that extend beyond their time limit will be reposted and the bounty reward INCREASED. Note - the date of catch will be looked at to confirm what reward you get (no hanging onto fish to try to get a bigger reward).

If you wish to sponsor a bounty to have posted, please mail the flyer to Robyn Hood (please see the flyers hanging currently for the proper format).



Note: You can determine the current water type by checking for the statue on the dock (No statue - Freshwater, Tuna - Saltwater, Gar - Fetid). The statue will be in front of the lamp at the front of the docks, as seen below (with no statue placed).



List of currently fulfilled bounties (catches can be viewed the week of their catch, on the dock. They will be preserved in the dungeon after being displayed for a week):

1 week - Freshwater - 20k (1 of each uncommon fish, no large or small) - @Fetid SirDidy
2 week - Freshwater - 50k (1 Pike between 1.5 and 1.8) - @Engel
1 week - Salt - 20k (1 Regular Mahi Mahi, 1 Small Bluefin Tuna, 1 Large Amberjack Mackeral) - @Engel
2 week - Rares - 50k (1 Small, 1 Regular, 1 Large - Any type as long as 1 from each water type) - @Engel (Small Swordfish, Goliath Catfish, Large King Salmon)
1 week - Fetid - 20k (1 Large Sharptooth Catfish between 1.5 and 1.7) - @Engel

 

Oh and forgot to mention - there will be quarterly and a yearly prizes for different categories

 

How (other than fishing) do we tell what the water type currently is ?
Where is the "water type" statue ?

 

The water type statue will be on the docks. I will post a pic of the location for you today Currently the water type is freshwater (no statue).

The first bounty has been fulfilled! Grats @Fetid SirDidy for fulfilling the Uncommon Freshwater Fish Bounty! More bounties will be posted in the upcoming days!

 

A couple of bounties have been reposted with their amount increased and a few new ones posted! Remember folks, there will be quarterly prizes as well as a annual prize for folks who fulfill bounties. Right now, @Engel is in the lead

 

Fish house bounties have been closed down due to lack of interest. I may bring back in the future if folks really want it....thanks for those that participated!

 

Please let me know when you bring it back, I'd like to put it in the weekly update Hopefully then you get some master anglers to compete. Happy to retweet out as well
