    It is time once again for the Soldier's Memorial Ball. (Yes this is really our 6th year!) This year we are returning to the glorious ballroom at Caer Dracwych with DJs from Avatar's Radio. We shall have DJ's Asclepius in the morning and the Dark Lord Celith Wraine in the afternoon.

    As always, this is a formal event. Time to break out your best. ;)

    While I'm quite pleased with our ballroom, I am looking for a little help from the community to put in the finishing touches in the form of heraldry and maybe a dragon head or two. Heraldry needed is in the form of plate armors, short banners and shields (any shield type will do). Anyone interested can either PM me for details, send donations via in-game mail or leave items in the library donation chest located just inside the observatory.

    Dragon heads needed: 2 Red, 1 Purple

    Sounds wonderful. Sadly 7am (here in Seattle) is way to early for this night kitty but I will definitely try to make the 11am even though that's still kinda, sorta early!

    I still have to get up for it.. I might be pulling an all nighter. 7am comes just as early on the other side of the Sound. ;)

    That said.. 1 week to go!

    Yeah timezones are a real pain. As the guest DJ for the morning session of this little event, I will be kicking off at 10 PM my time. So if I nod off part way through just give me a swift kick:D:eek:

    Heheh, that's why we have it so early with an encore event. It's so hard finding a good time. It's impossible to have one time that's good for most people. I want to make sure that more people can make either one or the other (though some manage to come to both). :)

    Well I've done my darnedest to assemble a good selection of tunes. And the venue is amazing - I think it will be a wonderful event!
