    Few comments:
    - White wine gives a debuff instead of buff
    - Brittany Ale buff only last for 15 minutes
    - Just wonder what does producer level bonus do
    - I have no 7 year whisky, so no screen shot for it

I guess we're taking the no-immersion thing seriously. Otherwise, I may have a justification for knocking back a 6-pack before work, since it will apparently improve my performance.

We need details as to what exactly is Producer level giving us. Also its taking up the food buff channel, I thought they were adding a drinking channel too?

At least, should be the base crafting levels instead, then. Or better, just a +3% exceptional chance. Otherwise the 25 year is useless compared to the time investment. Otherwise, it really brings up the whole, "do the devs actually now how the game works?"

Disagree. I feel like something that takes a literal IRL year to create should have a more unique (and uniquely good) effect. Nothing OP, because then in a year there'll be tons of it, but at least something that's not pretty easily gained by other methods. Not necessarily 100% solid on my own idea, but at least exceptional chance isn't something (that I'm aware of) which you can directly get elsewhere. (I mean, you can sorta I suppose get a better exceptional chance via the level boost from crafting rings, but I think that's only if the rings get you past a break point.)

I don't imagine too many people using Paladis White Wine.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I have no idea why people want drunk buffs in the first place. Intoxication effect is super headache inducing. Maybe if they had effects that were more like cute/funny/original kind of stuff. Combat stuff will either be not good enough to use or hated because it's good enough to use.

I don't imagine many of these getting used, aside from the crafting ones. Chris has confirmed (on Twitter, of course) that alcohols will not be getting their own channel(s) separate from food. None of those feel worth sacrificing a t5 food for. Maybe the +5 Int one, if only because for Focus builds it might be easier to get hold of than rare fish foods.

Unless all the other foods get new stats, that is. That could change everything.

Immersion is the appeal for some people. Some of my my fondest memories of group play in GTA 5 are my character drinking beers between missions, as was his MO, and then sometime exciting happened and he would faceplant while trying to run away or crash trying to drive away.

The visual effects are also a very simple means of further immersing yourself in a character in a specific moment. Not everyone is into RP, so I can understand that the appeal is lost on some people.

My favorite mod for Skyrim is a relatively simple one that makes my character feel completely at home when crafting and enchanting and all it does is add a couple subtle visual effect while being used as well as the plant itself.

Not sure how many of you paint models or do any other kind of crafting or such, but I tend to drink while painting miniatures for table top gaming and I like it when my avatars in games can mimic my habits/quirks in game during shared activities to help me better see the world through the character's eyes.

I think Chris said all foods were getting a pass. I hope so, would love to see more attunement foods and great depth of choices. So far the alcohols seem to be an indicator that is the direction they are going.

While I think I've made my disdain for +/- style buffs well known, alcohol buffs could be kinda cool if they had a hangover debuff that applies after the initial buff lapses. But I think they'd need to be much stronger than they currently are to be worth it.

I'm hoping that is a mistake that it is -5% Fizzle, then I will be drinking it every time.

These buff seem week for whisky, or not even worth it. Production time bonus is it really useful when most of the time macro is used for this purpose. We still don't know what exactly 25 year whisky does as it is, its useless and not worth the effort.

Adventure level gives you a bit of health and focus, I am not really sure how useful that is for end game players. Producer level might give something interesting once we find out what it does. I guest I will only be chugging 2 year whisky only.
