Ancient Xennosian Plate chest armor

Ancient Xennosian Plate chest armor...
Is this suppose to be heavy or light armor?

It's description in the COTO shop isn't clear which it is and it doesn't/can't use Heavy Armor skills when I equip it.

Does anyone else use this armor other than me?

oddly it's tagged plate medium armor, which is not a thing. the original plan for skill trees included a medium, but i don't think they ever used it they combined it into heavy in R9. i can't cast sprint in it, so it's not light. i can't cast glancing blow, either, so it's not heavy. please bug report so i can verify.

you can see light, medium, and heavy on the combat sigil

 

I used it to pattern a plate chest piece, and it worked fine for that, but never actually tried to use it "out of the box".

 

Is it heavy or light armor when crafted?
It's a great looking armor and I especially enjoy the way it can gender-flip. It's a really sleek looking upper fit. Does it take on different colors when crafted in different metals?
(I never craft, I'm traditionally a consumer style player, so I'm a crafting novice beginner in that regard).

What exactly does fixed mean? Is this tech talk or among the knowing, as in code for something?

When will my store bought Ancient Xennosian Plate chest armor be ready for use and what will it be able to be used as, heavy or light armor?

Will this fix come in the next patch or what, as my Ancient Xennosian Plate chest armor still seems unusable as heavy armor?

they're not going to patch live this close to the new release. expect it this thursday.

i do not know whether he set it to heavy or light (though i'm gonna guess heavy given it's solid metal) but unless you're wearing the original piece from the store it doesn't matter. they removed the restriction on pattern types for armor (and somewhat for weapons) a few releases ago. if you salvage it for the pattern you will be able to use it on crafted chest armor of any type.
