Makers Mark -every item

Im not sure I read this correctly but doesn't it cheapen the ability if makers marks is placed on every thing. I like the idea of it applying only to exceptionally made items. What's the point if its put on poorly made items kinda makes it a Waterdowned extra.

I.e you make sword, sword, sword, exceptional sword (getting the makers mark).

 

I don't see myself getting caught up with a particular maker. An exceptional sword made by me and another made by you can only be so different. I care more about stats and then aesthetics. Maker not so much.

Either way we go I'm okay with it.

 

Perhaps this could be an option for the crafter? They can have it always enabled or on-demand. Or if they forget, they can select the items they crafted and choose "Apply Maker's Mark" on them in one action.

 

I like this idea.
"You have created an exceptional item. Would you like to apply a maker's mark?"

 

Looking at the notes it currently will apply to all items, it will just be like the old days, sell the lower grades to the npcs and sell the exceptional ones to players.

 

I was really suprised when I made 2 halberd in R10, the only ones I made they both had my makers mark.
However for some Crafters error they had no none Stats
