For now, though, the option to invert the controls, so I have free camera control all the time and can use the pointer by holding down the right button would be good start!

I rely on my mouse to play Deck Combat. So having the mouse mvoe the camera would totally destroy my ability to use deck mode. If anything, request it be added as a option.

I play this game (and always will) on a macbook. therefore, I don't use a mouse. Its extremely painful.

I know the world is designed around PC users, but please, think of the trackpad users too.

This game gives me carpal tunnel atm.

Well, I could have a lot of choice comments to make about deck combat and using a mouse rather than the numbers...........

But I really want to focus on giving the option to not use the right mouse button......

    Games such as?

So I can understand which games you play, where can use the mouse position both as camera view position AND pointer position at once.

Pointer position? I have no clue what you're talking about. I'm only asking for an option not to have to keep the right mouse depressed to turn my camera. I'm not here to debate you or anyone.

In Assassin's Creed Unity, I play in single and multiplayer and don't ever have to keep any mouse button depressed.

I really don't think that's too much to ask, to give people the option. Let people who like to keep buttons depressed for hours, do so. But don't make everyone do it.

I'm not going to get into other details and debates.

Right. After all why should we care about people getting wrist pain from constantly depressing a button.
We should not have parking spaces or restrooms for disabled people either. After all many people find those spots closest to the stores nice for themselves and they find the narrower stalls and doors not accessible by wheelchairs quite alright.

Yes, its one of those "oh lets randomly do something completely different and really impractical" things :D

yes there should be options at least. As often as possible I press the numlock key which keeps me going continuously and it toggles off also and can be reporgrammed to another key. :)

    Greetings,

I asked for this early in SotA's development too and have been ignored ever since.

    :p

Caliya is right. I have come up with a bizarre way of holding my thumb on the track pad at all times while "mousing" with an index finger.

It would be so nice if there was at least an option where look could be done without right click hold as it would alleviate this issue completely for trackpad users.

Aaah, ok, I see it now.

Honestly I didn't understand the issue. Now I do. Thank you. An option for what you ask should be perfect.

I agree with the OP and have asked for this feature before, too. At this point it would have to be an optional feature.

It is the way navigation is other games like Skyrim, and is easier and not as painful for people with repetitive strain injury.

    Um, yes he was joking.

You said, "don't just change stuff that many people actually find perfectly fine"

Many people find lots of things perfectly fine, but that doesn't mean it takes the needs of others into account. If we all had our way, we'd get the closest parking spaces because it works fine for us. But what about people who really need to walk less?

Well, we can get used to something, or we can also make something work better for a wider audience.

Still hoping to get controller support for movement and camera ie let me move and use camera on an Xbox 360 controller. I can program all the other buttons myself but need native support for that. Having full controller support in the long run would be awesome too however.

my reply was also quoting a statement saying add options not just change the system if you look back.

You may have meant that, but this is what you said, "I agree, don't just change stuff that many people actually find perfectly fine as is please heh "

Options weren't mentioned. Not changing stuff seemed to be your focus.

yes, with "How about optional rather than eliminated? I am quite comfortable with it as is." clearly displayed in a quote above it, i haven't had my coffee yet so i am a little surly but learn how to read.

I cant more then agree that there must be an option for right mouse button movement! It's feels unnatural but worse is the poor ergonomic hand position you get.
