R19 Dye Test: 150 shades of 4B

    Inspired by 50 Shades of Jack (though only 14 were shown), I decided to make much more thorough test of dyes, the costs were astronomical... I had to pay over 500k for dyes and clothes. The testing took few hours, the shooting itself took about an hour. Once everything was dyed and packed we could begin:

    Big thanks to Arianna, who helped me as a model and was extremely patient with me and managed to stay stil lthe whole time.

    In all cases, the clothes we wear from left to right were:

    1. Cloak, Cloth Chest Armor, Cloth Leggings, Cloth Gloves, Cloth Shoes
    2. Cloak, Cloth Doublet, Cloth Leggings, Cloth Gloves, Cloth Shoes
    3. Cloak, Fortified Cloth Chest Armor, Fortified Cloth Leggings, Cloth Gloves, Cloth Shoes
    4. Cloak, Epic Plate Chest Quarter-Armor, Epic Plate Leggings Quarter-Armor
    5. Cloak, Epic Plate Chest Half-Armor, Epic Plate Leggings Half-Armor
    Well, this is just initial test, we made another shooting to get higher quality. I need to thank Jynx who helped me put this image together.

    First, I tried to sort the colours so you can easily compare whether you prefer yellow or orange or red, so the bright versiond of dyes vere a separate group.

    The dyes used in the first test are as follows:
    1. None
    2. White
    3. Black
    4. Red
    5. Orange
    6. Yellow
    7. Green
    8. Blue
    9. Bright White
    10. Bright Black
    11. Bright Red
    12. Bright Orange
    13. Bright Yellow
    14. Bright Green
    15. Bright Blue

    Then, I made the second test to allow people easily compare, whether they should pay extra gold for the Bright version of the pigment.

    The dyes used in the second test are as follows:
    1. None
    2. White
    3. Bright White
    4. Black
    5. Bright Black
    6. Red
    7. Bright Red
    8. Orange
    9. Bright Orange
    10. Yellow
    11. Bright Yellow
    12. Green
    13. Bright Green
    14. Blue
    15. Bright Blue

    Also, can anyone advice? I was barely able to dye anything ... It feels like crafted items can not be dyed ATM, only bought from the vendor

    Now for the Dumb question: How do you dye things? I've seen the pigments, they're quite expensive...

    Just drag them over item you wear (it does not work on items in your bag for some reason). And it does not work for all items. Otherwise it is just like using a repair kit.
