Using an Nivida Geforce 960 with driver 352.30 on Slackware 14.1 and I am getting lots of flashing corrupted graphics in game with flashing images and other graphical defects. I have adjusted settings, including resolution and no change, R25 still works fine.

@StarTux If you could, are there specific scenes/examples of problem areas you're seeing? The more details and specifics we can get, the easier it will be for us to investigate and isolate the issues you're seeing. You can provide descriptions and /loc chat command details for us to get to the exact in-game coordinates for what you're seeing. Thank you.

I am seeing the corruption right from the first scene with a new character. The launcher and character generator is fine. I am suing the 64 bit version.

I experience the same issue on Linux Mint 17.3, Nvidia Geforce 970, driver 352.79. Both on over world map and in my PoT.

    Example /loc: Area: Refugees Haven (POT_forest_metropolis_01_template) Loc (-317.2, 64.9, 226.5)

Also the color of the windows of NPC buildings is wrong. I have captured a video of the flickering if it will help (seems it is only possible to embed media in from sites I don't use).

    @Attenwood, here's a video.

It also shows an issue with transparent items (windows).

BTW, I sometimes see the same issue in R25, just not nearly as bad.

That looks like a problem with the camera's collision detection, and what you're seeing are the walls the camera comes in contact with. To confirm, the issue does not occur when panning the camera in an open space with no walls/terrains for it to hit, correct?

The video shows a bit of what I see (talking from my experience), bu on my end its far more pronounced, n that it is seen without panning cameras around and starts immediately.

The question is if it only occurs when the camera has a mesh behind it, such as a wall or terrain. Or if you see it when it is free from collision in the open.

@StarTux And if I could get specific example of what you're seeing. The video helps me understand a little bit about what the camera's doing upon collision with other objects, but if that's not what you're seeing, I'm going to need better details. Screenshots help.

I ran through the first two scenes and into Soltown, only rarely stablised enough for me without corruption if I found an open space and did not move the camera to much, if at all.

Then the rain hit Soltown and it became a 'total mess' no matter which direction I looked.

    I hope this helps.

Literally when I first got into the game the video corruption was there and I didn't specifically have to do anything in my case.

I will have to figure out how to take a video and then post it online, that would've helped a lot :).

I use Kazam https://launchpad.net/kazam to record screen. It is a simple tool that gets the job done.

In areas where there are things like sunbeams or moongates, I see flashing from those textures all over the scene.

I won't be able to get a capture of it before the wipe.

@Attenwood OK, I had enough time to create another screen capture. Watch the torches.

Finally uploaded a video, the recording is slow, but you see the artifacts I see, just imagine them at a higher FPS and more numerous.

One more video. This one is much more extreme.

    Hi there,

i have exact the same issue, system is (K)Ubuntu 15.10 on Intel Core i5-6500, 16 gb RAM, NVIDIA GTX 960 with nvidia-352.63 driver.
SotA client via Steam for Linux, same problem with standalone client. Here is the video, taken in the POT "Drachenfels". It´s really extreme,
may be related to the heavy rain?

On the same machine with windows 10 I have no such issues.

    EDIT:
Now with latest patch the whole screen is pink ....
