So I loaded up Sota for the first time in about 10 months the other day and I'm really impressed! Not only are the graphics beautiful but the world building is also top notch. The one thing I find rather frustrating is my run speed. How do I go faster? Are there speed hacks? Can I buy boots of mobility? I'd like to role play as Sanic the Hedgehog and I'm having a hard time stepping it up.

    Coconuts!

[edit] You can also double tap and hold the W or up arrow to sprint, but that consumes focus.

You can unload all your inventory on to me, if you like? It should make you lighter, which in turn will make you go faster:)

On a more serious note, you could try using thing like the coconut horse (yes, seriously) to trot along a little faster, or maybe pick up 'dash' as a skill, or double tap forward will do the trick too - until your focus runs out.:D

BTW, your movement speed is about the same using the coconuts as it is sprinting.

You can setup another hotbar and then set your equipment to it with the coconuts then use CTRL+Y to switch between the coconuts and combat. You can set the coconut hotbar as alternate and then use the swap hotbar button to switch to it but, perplexingly, you're not allowed to switch back.

Holy crap, I didn't realise double tap to sprint existed (last week it was the charge attack), so much to discover lol.

And welcome back! R26 combat movement will feel smoother BTW. Two more days!
