Copying from Release Notes topic, per Darkstarr.

I agree as well. You should get the seed back once you create the dye.

I would say you should get the seed back when you harvest the plant.

There is already a "Chance you will receive a seed on harvesting" set up for other plants. Just set chance to 100% for Royal Elderberry.

Honestly, not sure why the devs chose to make this so complicated. :)

Plus now the seed and the dye are both not tradeable.

    They are not *directly* trade-able.

However, you can simply place the seed in a chest, and share it that way.

Frankly, not sure why the devs went through the effort of setting up some "Not Trade-able" flag either, considering how easy it is to bypass. :)

So I believe Port's intent with both the fruit and dye are so you cannot stockpile them. They want you only have one at a time, then when used, you can make another. If in either case you got the seed back before using the end product you could save the product and I don't think they wanted that.

I think that's fine for the fruit but not the dye.

On a side note, where are the public gardens? The ones in Ardoris don't seem to work so I can't plant anything.

Post wipe? Can't say I'm happy especially as they said public gardens would be in this release but whatever.

But they've also made agriculture outside only this release, so how am I supposed to grow my elderberry plant?
