    Greetings fellow adventurers!

    • Desolis
    • Braemar
    • Kingsport
    • Owl's Head

    Maps to the main NPC's:
    • Soltown
    • Ardoris
    • Braemar
    • Kingsport

I will add soon the form so you can also give me hints of the quests I haven't found.

Edit #1 - Added Resolute quests though not all of them are complete yet.
Edit #2 - Added the rest of the found Resolute quests and completed them. (not full list)
Edit #3 - Added Blood River Massacre

    hey there,

I found that site a while ago while I had questions for the quests I was on. Not a single word I hit in got me a result.

"Scout" for example...is the word you tell the lord to discuss the quest in HighVale about finding the "scout".
That word doesnt bring any hits.

"Birgit" the Knight your supposed to give an Amulet to in the resolute starter quest, is not a hit word.

Basically the site is looking nice...yet no help.

    Highvale...no hit.
    Resolute...no hit,
    ...

Else, the site looks nice, I just cant comment what it contains.

    Edit:

    I could click on the

    07.03.2016
Checked all Hidden Vale quests and changed those needing changing.

So...it worked, but not with the "enter word for search".

Well I'm not surprised that you didn't find those quests. I haven't found those quests yet, so they are not listed. I'll log in and travel there.
And there is a menu on the right side of the page. It gets you to quests I have found and quests I had help.

uhhh...ok. Want me to help you?

I solved 3 in the area of resolute...Beginners bring Amulet to Birgit and thanks to Lum I found the Cuthbert Undead Bane in the cemetery and found the spy in highvale.

And thanks for your work, with time it will be a big help.

No worries with german, I studied it for few years decades ago, and I still remember few words.

Thank you Ludwig for letting me know there were quests in Resolute. I finished two today (relic, spy and Birgit), but I haven't found the other amulet. I will write them to QotA soon.

And of course I need help! :D

I am a lazy player, and to be honest, Novia having so many cities, towns and villages to explore, I get bored soon. Especially when 99% of the NPC's don't require any help. :)

K, here my helps...mostly thanks to Lum.

    1.)
Gawains Amulet...given to player in first dialogue after arriving from the isle of storms if he/she chose the path of "courage".
    - Leave HighVale, go to Resolute, go to the Tavern, speak to Brigid, give amulet in dialogue.

    2.)
    Find the Scout in HighVale.
    - Enter Highvale, enter the keep itself, by the wall inside look for someone out of place who's name is written in a different color, open dialogue and get the letter, get back to Resolute, visit the Lord, open dialogue, say "scout" and give the letter.

    3.)
The Relic in Highvale is not a quest, but the item is pretty much worth it at beginner Level.
    - Visit the cemetery in HighVale keep, look for a weapon (mace) that seems discarded and forgotten.

And after those 3...I havent found any more in Resolute, but I havent spoken to all NPC's that squat the place.

Speaking of Resolute, there is a guard on patrol somewhere who has a quest.

    Location:

Patrols around the back area, up to the Oracle and back.

    For that guard in resolute:
    Npc:
    Barkley Canis, Knight of Norgard

    Quest:
Has asked after the location of his childhood sweetheart Felicia. (Supposedly a cat lover, tough it would be that crazy old woman in Soltown, but guess I was wrong...!)

    For that childhood sweetheart:

Try searching in a city that materialised at the same time as Resolute.

    Great site!

Some quests are broken now, I believe, like the Wrasse Eggs and Silver Ore. But didn't check for a while.

Wrasse eggs, Digit's ectoplasm and some other "gathering" quests have been deactivated. Lord Enmar's Red Sashes and Ectoplasm quests have changed so you can sell those to merchants at the same price. Or that what he (Enmar) said...

Most important is that your site is ready when the experience starts. Believe me, when people come into SotA from other games, they will need help in solving those. 10 years of dital-yellow-arrows over quest giver/objects left a deep need of being taken by the hand when playing online.

One of the goals of this game was exactly to turn back in time when men were men and bobbing question marks were considered silly.

The "no handheld" mantra was and I hope will still be one of the founding principles of SotA. I'm glad there are external resources for who let the game think in his stead, but I wouldn't dumb down the difficult or the exploration or the subtle riddles only because the rest of the world went in the minimum effort, maximum casualty direction.

    Thanks Beolthian for your work!

Thats basically what I ment. I'm just a tick ahead. and allready thinking "how would someone that just joined perceive the game". And thats why its awesome to give players a sort of alternative besides the game itself to understand and solve quests.

I joined in 2014...and had no clue about this "back to the roots". I like it, dont get me wrong. But the usual Steam customers will well...you know hat I mean ;)
