MASTER SKILL TRAINER LOCATIONS

Hi great thread, so helpful , still trying go find heavy armour trainer, how do you get the coordinates up

 

Type /loc and make sure that misc is active in the chat window you type it in. If you need any specific directions I'll be home in about 2-3 hours.

Thanks for the heads up. Did you manage to confirm if the other trainers were in Desolis this release as well? If not, no worries. I plan to do most of that tonight after work.

 

can't get life skills I cant open the door and don't see any npc in the building is this normal ? its right of the guild master . I see no armor guild sign

thinking. yep BIGTIME bug I think ive seen this before but thought nothing of it till some one put traners in it then I took note

 

I did not find all, where is the updated list of all trainer? Let me see if i have some updated locations

Haven't logged in this release, but usually the door is always open (or previously was). I will head there today after work to confirm (did you confirm the "gps" with /loc?). I'll update post to reflect it may be bugged for the 4 in that location. Also, there is no armor guild sign for the trainers house that I'm aware of (I'll double check that too). It could also be that with the new locations that went live they may have finally moved those 4 to their permanent location, which if so means I'll be running around again to confirm new locations.

This has been confirmed as a known issue bug by Attenwood. Updated OP to reflect this.

 

As mentioned by Mata, I'm updating the OP each release to keep it accurate with all current known locations.

 

I can't seem to find a "Whirling Blades Trainer"... Anyone come across one? Or is there more than one trainer in Ardoris?

Thanks, I did find the Trainer after your insistence that he was there I had been there looking many times, yet I hadn't actually searched the other entrances to that entire building where the banners on the outside points it out as a special building. It sits off from the main "open square", thus I had disregarded all of the connecting building to that open square.

*face palm* I've gott'a get my Ultima Quest brain back into gear again, or I'll never become the Avatar

What I would like to know if there is a way to find out this info by asking NPC in the town.

There should be a conversation that you can have with the town guard for such things.

*Guard standing near you and begin convo*
Hello do you know where the trainer for advanced swordsmanship is?
*Guard responds*
Yes next to the bank.

 

I believe the long term goal for NPCs is to have such knowledge available to a group of NPCs; so all Guard NPCs in Ardoris will know where the Water magic trainer is, for example. However, @Lum would have to comment as to where that functionality lies.

I wonder if these will change as they add more locations/cities into game, or if they will just have multiple advanced trainers.
