Mrs Garriott was probably upset he did not give more stuff away during the Kickstarter campaign. :)

We really need the flogging a dead horse one for the forums. :)

Eh. It's not really any different than most people. Only the price tags change.

This stuff? I dunno. A lot of it is pretty neat.

I'm saying everyone has their own things that they like to collect that could just be stupid to others. I have a lot of Oakland Athletics stuff, especially bobbleheads. Star Wars books, games, figures. Ultima maps. You know, stupid stuff.

Sorry I didn't mean to be offensive when saying "stupid" I just find collecting things weird, don't think I've ever done it myself

Richard. If you wind up with a couple of these unsold, I'll rent a truck and drive to Austin.

Oh, no biggie. I'm sure my wife thinks some of my collections are stupid. Everyone is different and has their own way of scratching that 'achievement' itch.

His stuff has personality. To some it might be useless, but to him it is awesome. I think a person's unique hobbies and unique joys are a wonderful thing. Things like these expose a precious part of a person's heart. Not many people expose themselves to the world for fear of rejection. RG saw the beauty in the things he acquired, and maybe it was apart of himself being revealed by acquiring these things.

He does appear confident enough that none of these jokes about his stuff being junk would actually bother him. Yet I think his collections are beautiful. I honestly think it shows he is a kind hearted man. These automatons mean something. They are not toys that are to be tossed into a toy box at the end of the day. These are delicate and valuable. I think it says something about the type of person he is. I could be wrong about the meaning, but I really like this collection of his.

His stuff is amazing! If I had the money.... sure! But he collects some things I wouldn't and probably vice versa.

Also, I know he's got his baby daughter now and I can imagine much more space is needed ans priorities change.

    A rich man's junk is a poor man's treasure.

Don't think I meant poor in spirit...I would never say anything like that about people who covet the castoffs of the wealthy...for reals...
