Daily 4x experience bonus

I think decay and the 4x bonus are both tied to how much you have invested in skills.

 

I'm just trying to get hard proof of how the system works. I just logged in without any 4x bonus waiting, but at least 12 hours since last i played. I lost absolutely no xp after dying before gaining any xp.

 

I stopped posting because I'm questioning what I know about it myself. My (few) certainities have been shattered some posts ago.

 

Well you did bring up what as been a pretty widely assumed relationship. I just have a pretty skeptical mind when it comes to software. I've had a number of things that i assumed were working with this game turn out to be unimplemented or significantly bugged...

 

Same here, a long time ago I wanted to know how this daily 4x comes.. all I got was player speculation. Truth is, NOONE to my knowledge knows how this rule works. Except the developers, and they won't tell us, pretty sure.

 

Tested dying after receiving the 4x bonus(note that i have gained experience since the last death i had on login). I lost no experience from my adventuring pool upon death.

 

Maybe decay isn't working right now.

 

That's what I think, and until I hear differently from the dev's, that is the case. Period. I personally won't waste any more time trying to figure that out... too much in this game that should work, but doesn't.. and rules that might work but we can't tell because we don't know how it works. /rant Thanks devs!

 

Anyway, I don't think that the daily 4x experience bonus is related to decay. It's just an incentive for people to play.

 

From my understanding, your skill level no longer go down, but you need extra xp to fill up the progress to the next level.

Is there still the case?
