Title: Obsidian Crowns not repairing items after patch 437
    Reproduction Rate: 100%
    Blocker? um....
    Details:
    - I first tried to repair an item with an Obsidian Crown in my basement at my crafting table - the only option which lit up was 'salvage'
    - I then went to a public crafting table [location below] - and the only option which lit up was 'salvage'
    - Finally, I went to Falling Waters Fortress - to a table which was not in a new scene, on a table which I had used before, and still all it said was 'salvage'

If possible, can you verify if this is still the case? Gold Crowns appear to be an acceptable repair ingredient when tested internally. If issue is still present, we will need to dig deeper.

    Thanks

Last night they worked - I presumed they had been fixed in a patch. Ah well, they are working now. Sorry.

Wow, One Zero, that's exactly what had happened to me. But last night I was able to repair, so this is one of those crazy 'why the heck does it work sometimes and not others' bugs! Log out and back in and see if it fixes it. That is the one thing that I did not try when it happened to me.

I did try in on my expert crafting table, a low level public table, and a table in a POT. I see it's happened to you at the Owl's Head public table. So it doesn't seem to be tied to the type of table (as we've seen in the past sometimes when certain tables did not work but others did).

@Attenwood - sorry to say this looks to be one of "those" bugs. What other kind of information do you need?

[edit] Oh! I just thought of one other factor to try. I had been carrying my crowns in my pack when this bug popped up. After a while, I took the crowns out of my pack and placed them in a container at my house. Then, when I tried it again, I retrieved the crowns from the container - and then it worked.

So try that as well, @One Zero - put the crowns into a container, then take them out and try it again.

@Raven Swiftbow - I put a blacksmith table on my lot. Put the crowns in both a public and private storage chest. Took them out and went to the blacksmith table. 1 crown plus a 23/90 durability chest armor and the prosperity hammer. Same result. Neither the repair or craft buttons light up blue. So who knows. I give up for now.

Well, we've both tried to find some commonality then every which way we can. I know that for the team this has to be the most frustrating type of bug.

    [Edit] Except for the crashes!

    @Cordelayne @Raven Swiftbow @One Zero

Thank you all for the details and assistance as we worked to investigate this issue.

We have isolated a cause that seems to be when the Secondary Durability is repaired to its Max (matching the Primary Durability). For instance, an item that is 23/23 (Max 90) would register as unrepairable. However, an item that is 21/23 would be repairable just fine with a COTO.

Current workaround would be to use the item again to get a repairable offset between Secondary and Primary durabilities, and then attempt to use the COTO to repair instead of a repair kit. We expect to have a fix in for this issue ASAP.

    Thanks again!

Thank you for all the help you provided in identifying this issue. I have fixed the bug and the fix will go out in the next patch. For now, if you damage the item and get the primary and secondary durabilities to be different values, you will be able to repair using the CotO.
