Bank stacking

Putting items in bank won't stack properly.

If the number of items you try to move to bank exceeds your bank slot limit it wont move them over despite there already being those items in bank.

Mentioned this before still yet to get fixed I know its effecting many players.

YES I have stacking checked in options menu before anyone mentions it.

Still have to manually stack in personal inventory as well.

side note: reward items shouldn't take up item slots in bank in my opinion. half my slots got used up when I collected them made me sad little puppy...

 

You should not have to do this, but if you close the bank window and reopen does it stack properly? To be more clear, add an item that does not stack, close window, reopen, is it stacked now?
A work around, not a fix. I find this to be a bug.

 

In case there is a similar item already in your bank, and it won't just click in there, you can still put it in. You do need to stack it in there yourself though - properly align the names of the said items on top of the other and it should go in.

 

No, opening and closing doesn't cause them to stack. No they are not "0" value items... I'm talking ores, iron, copper, ingots as well, stone and wood also.

I'm usually troubleshoot things to see if I'm doing something wrong first before posting here. Not always but most of the time.

btw, for you to be my mom you'd have to be in your 70's

 

I also think stuff should stack automaticly ... it's the same when buying bundles of arrows (24 each) ... I bought 10 bundels and thought I get 240 arrows in the inventory, but that's was only partial the case, cuz I had 10 times 24 as stacks ^^

Please change that (and let uns move stack seperately when holding an hotkey (or rightclick - "move as own stack")

 

Yeah, drag items from my inventory to my bank and vice versa does not auto-stack them. Take Pine Wood (5) from inventory and place in bank which already has Pine Wood (10) won't auto-stack them. It's a hassle.

 

There is a post about this in the bug forums. The Devs know and are working on it

 

Well, sorry for trying to help. So silly of me to try and think it through with my own observations. I'll resist any further temptations to assist.

 

This bug will affect at least 7000 players(less each day) from July 28th to August 28th. Every time someone makes a deposit to any bank of a stack to a stack, this bug appears with a 100% reproduction rate.
Completely unacceptable for a persistent game, and it's hard to believe they've left it like this for months/over a year. The only reason people didn't complain about it prior to this is most players had house storage and didn't care.

 

The stacking problem cropped up in R31 but as mentioned, had house storage, wasn't an issue.
I managed to clean over 200 SLOTS out of my bank by manually stacking, not cool when there's a 'slot limit'.
Things don't stack in inventory either, i.e. if i have 50 mandrake and buy 20 more, i now have a stack of 50 and a stack of 20.
Irritating.

 

I've experienced my bank not stacking items as well.
