Since the only way to get the seeds to get more plants is to actually Make a Dye, or eat the seed? Really they are actually nice decorations and not something I can get more off since I have to consume the plant itself to get a seed back.

I understand the need to keep the end items rare but there has to be a better way - a selection that turns the plant to decoration mode and get a seed back that would keep it so the seeds do not get overdone but destroying something that makes an awesome decoration because of some limiting issues needs to be rethought.

A cluster of Elderberries looks Awesome, and needs to be allowed.

Water your plants and get more than one fruit when harvesting.

When do you get a seed back, if you get multiple fruit?

Each fruit can be used on a tanning station to create the dye and when you use the dye on a piece of clothing you get back the seed.

If you get two fruit, do you have to create and use two dyes in order to get a seed back? Or, do you get the seed back when you use the first dye?

One fruit creates one dye which returns one seed. So Weins can achieve his cluster of plants after a few harvests and uses, currently I have five plants growing and an additional seed on me.

So, a little watering multiplies your seeds? Sweet!

I'm not sure on that for this release as I've only just planted one. As using the fruit is an instant full heal I'd doubt it but will report back my findings.

If I remember correctly, the fruit heals 1000 hp when eaten.

I've only ever used it with a low max hp but the description states full health.

BTW I just got my account banned for creating these excess plants...perhaps it's considered cheating...I'm really upset right now

Apparently they do not want us to do this...but i am not sure...it would be good not to just get a ban for reasons unknown. I cannot access my account until whenever they get a chance to look into this...

as I understand it you where never supposed to be able to get more plants, it is one for one, if you got two seeds it is / was a bug.

I stopped even growing them until they fixed any issues.

Now what I want is just the plants for decoration, I do not care one bit about the seeds / dyes. I just want to be able to use the plants and get the seed back.

Basically instead of getting a Dye or Fruit - I want to be able to lock it in a decoration mode and then get a seed back.

Sure I could grow ALOT of plants but they are only for deco so who cares.

If it is such a big deal make them account bound in that form also so they cannot be sold.

But the Elderberry bush looks nice and should be able to be gotten some how.

Wow. The elderberries have been giving multiple seeds pretty much forever. I guess I assumed that is why they were account bound/no trade.

I would gladly convert mine to deco instead of utility using that type of feature. they do look really neat.

I thought it was WAI on the elderberries. I'd better go turn my alt in on the bug report forum then - did not realize it was not intended to get 2 berries.

@Chris, @DarkStarr, @Attenwood Ok I really would like an answer now since it appears there are players now with ALOT of seeds and therefore can make a lot of plants. I was told this was not what should be able to happen and stopped growing as a result since it s not what was supposed to happen. All I wanted was decoration now I see there are 100 if not 1000s of possible dyes / seeds out there??

Sooo if there are now player with 100s of seeds and can grow 100 of plants then they can also have 100 of fruit or dyes and those that did not grow them are left in the dust . . . . .

Please publically address this issue, and explain ASAP.

Also I would shut off Elderberry / Fruit of Life stuff until worked out.
