5 hours and already 2 pieces of one troll - not very hard or difficult :-(

I'm thinking the dragon skull will be the hard part. Those dragons hit pretty hard.

Actually, the bottleneck will be the Skeleton Bones. The main body parts dropped almost every time on QA while the sub-component Skeleton Bones dropped pretty infrequently.

You will need 38 skelly bones for a full set of bone armor and it took hours of a very high level group of us to farm them up (We had 2 players in the group with like 255 skills GM'd... gifts from Attenwood... and it was still a major grind for us.) Granted, we did some exploring all over the map to see if there were better options than the Rise, but that ended up being our best option of finding the bones.

Good luck to anyone trying to craft this alone. It will not be easy.

Oh, and although they look really cool, the stats are not all that great at all and you will likely be disappointed once you put the time and effort into it. Just warning ya!

Don't really know how to reply to this - - -

Hours??? sadly even so that is to fast that is not "exceedingly difficult"

and to the gift's from Attenwood - why? if this happens, then why can not every player just set skills in QA then we could all actually test stuff not just the special few. also means the special few can go test content that other have no chance at and find bugs to fatten their purses from QA "rewards"

I know I was one of the special few before, everyone should be equal from persistence on - even in QA.

First off, when I said hours, it was at least 6-8 hours in total. Also, this group had some very OP players in it that would normally take many months to achieve the skill levels that some of us had. That undoubtedly reduced our kill times drastically and on the live servers it won't be that easy at all. Those 1 or 2 guys were nearly invincible to all but a few of the boss mobs due to their massive number of GM's and excellent skills at deck building, etc. So don't take this "hours" timeframe as something that will be achievable on live servers. Sure, some people may get 1 or 2 pieces made early on, but a full set of bone armor likely won't happen for a while.

As to your statement implying preferential treatment... Meh, I was not one of the "special few" this time around and it didn't bother me that much. It's really just a matter of timing with Attenwood being around and not busy when you are testing. If you run into him and he's not too busy, he usually assists you with whatever you request if it's in his powers.

He realizes we only have a short time frame to test things on QA and he does what he can to help anyone test the new content.

Got 1 skeleton bone from Crypt of the Avatar and 1 from either Deep Ravenswood or Sequanna Colossus (cannot remember, sry). Surprised me, because I thought there were only Hardened Skeletons in those areas and I needed an Elite Skeleton?

Also got Lich Skull from Deep Ravenswood or Sequanna Colossus. Didn't see it till I was back from adventuring, so again, no idea which one.

Thanks for the confirmation I hadn't spent enough testing it.
I also need to test out the named ranged lich boss and normal lich mage in Kingsport Sewers as well as the lich mages in Owl's Head Sewers.

Wow.... that will be a loooot of time with normal characters... just wonder why testing with characters that cannot be made (maybe in years)... it breaks the purpose of the test since looks like those super GMs chars arent achievable (more with the decay stuff announced), but anyway nice to know some hints about the difficulty, thanks for your testing.

We have enough for 3 sets pending 1 more daemon hoof and some skele bones. For your list you can add...
Vertas Pass, Ravensmoor and The Ruined Keep: Troll ribs and hip.
Solania Catacombs(or is it sewers? i forget the name): Daemon hoof.
The Rise and Grunvald (erm northern barrens.. the one near that canyon): Dragon neck-bone and skele bones (rise).

Drop rates are EXTREMELY low for all parts.

I would assume all hardened skeletons would drop bones as would all trolls. I am guessing folks are going to where they know for sure these spawn to reap the bones. Alas this one will not be attempting this venture. LOL. Heck i havent even killed the guy at Ravenwood Ruins yet for a quest....he was stuck under the stairs. LMAO. Happy Hunting you cwazy wabbits.
