Which mode do you prefer?

Which game mode would you prefer, if you had to choose one?

  1. Singleplayer offline, who needs all those other jerks?

  2. Friends online, I just have most fun with friends i know.

  3. Multiplayer online, I like meeting new people and getting new frriends

    I fear that most offline fans already left the forums and the game disappointed by the development of this mode...

    Can't answer that honestly - it all depends on my mood at the time, the reasons for being in-game, and whether my rather erratic ISP manages to keep my internet connection online! I'd probably continue playing if only one of those options was available, but I honestly can't say I would ever choose one only - which was a huge part of the appeal of the project when I first signed up on Kickstarter.

    Which rather frustratingly means I'll not be able to see how other folks voted...

    I cannot give a single answer either. For adventuring and exploring and actually playing the game I prefer multiplayer mode. But for farming resources I prefer the friends-only mode so I don't have to compete for the stuff I need (and don't take it away for others as well). so no, I cannot place my vote, too...

    I want a streamlinw online mode where I can choose which current mode prior getting into each zone instead of doing the relogin.

    I switch modes all the time depending on task or mood.

    My favorite is Multi though but I really enjoy the others as well.

    I play MPO because I like seeing people , ans SPO when I want to harvest in peace and quiet :) But I mostly play in MPO mode, SINGLE PLAYER in MPO mode . :);):cool::D

    multi - I tried playing SPO for the grind but it was just too empty and I can't serious about grinding..., I've never even used a macro.

    Prefer multiplayer offline. o_O I can pretend to want be social without ever seeing a soul.

    Also enjoy No Friends Offline. :confused: Because when I'm offline, I'm friendless.

    I'd prefer multiplayer if, and only if, resources weren't shared with everyone else in the scene, and if the lag caused by other players being in the area was toned down more.

    Otherwise, I'll likely be in Friends Only always. I'm part of a pretty well-knit guild of players, some of which I've been gaming with across various MMOs or other online games for 7 years now.

    Single Player Online or Friends Online when playing the game in terms of PvE and Storyline, Full Multi-Player Online when I'm attending anything of more expansive interest.

    Since I'm always Online at my main computer anyway, I don't see a reason to play Offline (even in Single Player which would deny me a chance to check vendors to find something needed)

    Single player online except for pvp. Well 6 months ago when i could play MO with no problems. Now i am just single player.

    I'm always Online. In earlier releases I preferred single-player while gathering and multiplayer otherwise, but these days I'm mostly in multiplayer online--seeing other people once in awhile breaks up the tedium of clicking on rocks, trees, and bushes.

    Besides, I'm a big believer in serendipity and the ability of other players to surprise and amuse me. :p

    Single player mode is an abomination. Friends online is bad for the world but I can see that it could be fun. Multiplayer is what will make SotA realistic community driven healthy world.

    1) A new player joins the single player game. Takes his crappy outfit and weak sword and clunks a few skeletons on the head. Goes and buys stuff. Boring. Leaves the game because it sucks.

    2) A new player joins the multi player game. Takes his crappy outfit and weak sword and clunks a few skeletons on the head and almost dies. But another player sees he needs help and clunks the skeleton on the head. They become friends, start a guild, recruit a bunch of people, create a PvE driven merchant empire and become a PvP force to reckoned with. Fun.

    I get that some people like Kung Pao chicken, but you don't order Kung Pao chicken in an Italian restaurant. And if the Italian restaurant has Kung Pao chicken in the menu, it is because the restaurant sucks.

    you should add the choice of single player Online in your Poll choices. I could not answer it.

    Friends or MpO.
    Depends whose on when i am. And if we doing something specific.
    Games not built to be a single player only game IMO, and i agree with the guy few posts up, about why its actually bad for the game.
