Title: Mousing over watered plants gives container name instead of plant
    Reproduction Rate:100%
    Blocker?No
Details:Mousing over water plants says "large container" or "planting pot." Mousing over unwatered plants works correctly.

If this is intentional it is detrimental as some sprouts look the same and we may need to find out which they are (if multiple people are farming one area, for example.)

Steps to Reproduce:Water a plant, mouse over.

Oh my you are right that kinda sucks, I do love the visibility of the water effect though.

Just to confirm, you are able to water after the update? I have planting pots that no longer let me interact with them. They highlight green, but then I no action can be taking. I see my very small plant which was the same way just before the update. I was able to try to water, but always told me does not need watering. Now, it tells me nothing when highlighted and I try to use the barrel.

If the soil is dark and shiny then the plant doesn't need watering, if you see the dirt looking dry and you still can't water the plant then this is a bug and needs a bug report.

If it's not a bug, then this is part of the OP's issue, that there's no info given on plant itself or condition of plant (no message saying plant does not need watering) with the new wetlook soil system.

@OP - with larger plants I found I'm able to see their name (with the Immortality seedling for example). Small seedlings appear to be entirely hidden behind the pot/soil even though they're there visually.
