I just want to take this thread and a few minutes to say:
It's a good work you've done - again. The gameplay seems more fluently and faster.

Thank you for your serious attempt to make the game a game for everybody (or should I say for everybody loves Ulitma and the realm of Lord British?)
And I think we all know: it's not easy - but a worthwhile challenge :)

From R to R the game gets more realistic - well this means it will sometimes taste bitter, but it is a wonderful thing following the evolution ...

Thank you for your effort :)

    +1

It's a wonderful thing to experience the progression of this game. The releases get better at an exponential rate. Well done, devs!

+1 I agree. Its becoming increasingly immersive, challenging and atmospheric. Each release its noticeably getting better to a point where I'm pretty hooked right now.

Lately I've begun to think perhaps I haven't seemed grateful enough. If I didn't think the devs appreciated honest feedback I'd almost feel bad about being critical of the very few issues I really have with the game.

To be able to be a part and have a chance to really influence the project in both big and small ways has been pretty awesome.

@Chris @DarkStarr and everyone else.. and the community.. Thanks!

Yes overall an improvement. I feel more challenged, which is the point, and still look forward to logging in every time.

I do feel they are getting close to a final solution on combat/XP/regen/etc. please give us a little time to digest ...... meaning enough is enough. kthx

Overall game running performance I give them an A++. Some of these combat changes though, I kinda wanna riot on them like they did for Trump... So F--- to them for that.

Thanks everyone! I love seeing positive posts too. If there are concerns, let's put them in other threads and keep this one clean :).

Totally agree, the cast bars are nice, and the combat sounds are finally getting enough love that it seems like a real game! ;-)

totally disagree. The gameplay is far from faster. The combats take longer, use more focus due to that, so then you are waiting for focus regen between fights, this is not faster gameplay. This is trash.

While it took forever to patch (nothing new there) once it was loaded, it was much more playable on my archaic (3 year old) Dell XPS. Few slowdowns, better loading it seemed.

For R37 most of the tech team will be focused on performance of all kinds. Expecting to get the game install size down to half the current size, improve the patching speed significantly, improved startup times, improved load times, reduced memory foot print, reduced crashes, improved frame rate, and reduced network traffic. Going to be a busy 4 weeks!

As for the combat changes, there were 2 dozen. I would love to hear your concerns. An issue was introduced that makes the actual trigger time of some spells much later but I'll be addressing that this morning for the weekend patch. If you're just upset because you used to be able to solo dragons, daemons, and control points and now you can't, then sorry but you know deep down it is better for the game.

I love the new changes.. I've died more last night than I have all month! :D Having fun, it's a lot more difficult, and new tactics gotta be learned...

The gfx and playability (in terms of framerate and lags) really seem better. Also logged in yesterda and loved the misty Overworld map.

So yeah, nice work and glad to hear about the R37 focus (that's actually most of the reasons why some of my friends have stopped playing)!
Combat balance is another topic, so I won't discuss that here (though I don't really hate any of those changes).
