Post Your Highest Damage or Healing per Single Attack/Cast

Hey everybody!

I am curious to see the most glorious attacks and heals in SOTA history.
I will keep an updated list of "high scores" below.

GUIDE FOR POSTING IN THIS THREAD:

1. Please post only unedited screenshots of either a high-damage single attack or a high-hit point single heal.
2. The attack can be from any skill tree (magic, range, blunt, blades, etc). The attacks/heals can be either critical or not.
3. Include your avatar name, the skill used for the attack/heal, the number of points of damage/healing, and the enemy/avatar that was attacked/healed (all of which can be obtained by screenshot of the chat window). If the skill affects more than one target, then you can post any single damage/heal or the cumulative damage/heal from one activation of the skill. Also, try to include the SOTA release # in which your big hit occurred.
4. If an attack, please include whether or not the strike was a killing blow.
5. You can post the entire screen shot. or you can post just the chat log (as shown below).
6. Feel free to post your personal best, even if it does not make the list. Share your triumphs!

Joe has not been around for a while, so I am posting this for him.

 

I suggest listing a top 10 for each category.

 

@Chris could likely dig this data out of the logs.

 

This one was against a real mob Rise Elf:

 

LOL..when in the thick of fighting I dont have time to take screenshots of my kills....too busy trying to keep the other things from killing me.....but I did a Coup de Grac on a few occasions that shocked my mates when out hunting...highest has been 729 and i think that was the Lich at Ruined Keep

 

A combat/weapon contest, I like the idea!

 

Wont see archery, bludgeon or polearms on this list


Its the magic coup show..

 

Perhaps having categories for all weapon types and attack methods might help shed light on imbalances.

 

I do not have the time or resources to compile a spreadsheet for all of the skills. Maybe someone else will volunteer to do that.
However, I did separate weapons into Ranged, Blades, Polearms, and Bludgeon (first post modified).

I was hoping this post would encourage Portalarium to use internal data to create a top 10 list for each skill (@Berek ).
I am sure they could compile the data (players could focus on combat and not on getting a screenshot!).
Right now I know they have more important things to work on, but maybe in the future they will consider it.

In the meantime, please post your pics here regardless of what skill you use. I can expand the list as time permits.

Obviously Coup de Grace will win because of it's huge damage modifier at <20% health. More interested to see "real" crits like Starman's.

 

This is about as good as it gets for me. Rapid Fire can ultimately do more damage but it's DOT.



This was also without the aid of gear or potions (elder elven archer armor, baron crown, baron cloak, founder bow).

It definitely is to me. But a mob in the rise vs a t2 mob is debatable. Hit an elite skeleton for your max with banish and that would be a better comparison imo. I would say you still have the lead though.

 

Where does rapid fire come in? I don't know if i would consider it dot, because if drops so quick. I think my 5 stack does 700+ every time vs Torc. And my archery skills aren't super high, I bet someone can do 1000+ with it if you add them all up.

 

Same thing would go for Corpse Explosion - put together a stack of corpses and then lure bigger targets over, use a 5 stack on the pile of corpses and just watch the crits add up - it's a thing a beauty.

 

Oh yeah! Good call, I bet those numbers can get crazy!

Meh...

Coup De Grace is so useless.... just an overkill skill.

If melee would do some serious dmg with normal skills, then this could be interesting.
But currently mages rule the world.

Such an contest makes zero sense.
The game is very unbalanced still.
