Cabalist = Armor Destruction?

    I just fought a Cabalist and after the fight I noticed that my nice bronze epic plate 3 enchant / 2 masterwork armor had the helm, boots, and chest all broken and leggings and gauntlets severely wasted. All pieces now need a COTO after 1 fight...

    This did NOT make me happy.

    UPDATE: Repaired my chest back to 60/60 and took on another 4 cabalists... chest is now 0/56 and broken again. Is this supposed to be so people use cotos or wear vendor plate when fighting these things? -5000% armor durability seems to be a joke @Chris. If this stays I doubt I'll be clearing any more sieges... not worth running around in vendor plate - which still won't last the fight - while PVP flagged.

    I believe that part of the bludgeon tree are abilities to break armor. If the cabalists are Nefas and/or Avara then you might reconsider.

    whole reason you need obsidian weapons and armor... now time to go get them.

    I'd really like to know what benefit obsidian weapons and armor would provide while fighting the cabalists.

    Weapons are clear 200% more damage... Armor? You look good while killing them?

    I originally could have sworn Obsidian armor was said to give you a damage buff against them.
