For future references:
I was in a party (none of the were in SKrekk), but that was why it didn't work.
Entered the scene solo (out of party) and there were keywords at the King.

Still can't get into the palace at Valhold

 

Do you have the entry to go there? I think they added the book passage from Harvest to Norgard step. Also make sure you have the amulet in inventory.

 

I was just told to go there in the quest chain, I have the heart I got but and the three gems that I can't take out of inventory but that is all. I'll have to look again. Also stuck in kiln trying to talk to the fawn there, I put in the words to get him to talk about perri but it won't move in from there.

 

Yeah I finally got Dion to work properly. I asked about Artiface to get the entry to go Etceter next. He can also give you a key if you ask about Blackblade Pass.

Make sure you have the dagger and the runic book in inventory.

 

I agree with the OP, this quest was so anti-climatic. I know it's still getting polished, but there are many points where I just scratched my head and said, "What!?" The whole conversation with the Kobold King created more questions than answers. I also didn't like that there wasn't the option for me to be Demig's champion. Hopefully as we move forward in the process there will be more options implemented in these quest lines, that create varied outcomes.

 

had started the path of courage up to taking brigid's amulet to harvest but one of the updates reset the quest line and i have no way of restarting the quest line without deleting this character. has anyone else had this problem?

 

what's in your journal isn't really a concern if it becomes inaccurate. do the next step you were scheduled to and it should pick up from there.

You need to open the door for her.
She apparently can't open it

As long as Essen's part still works you can move forward.

You need to follow her when she says to. Then when she stops in the great hall near the door. Open it. She will enter and talk to you in the room
