When I got Rapid Fire to level 80, the skill description showed that the duration would be 1.8 seconds at level 100. That's really significant as the power of the skill increases 12.5% going from 99 to 100. I worked a long time to get this skill to 100 and the duration is still 1.6 seconds! What gives? If I would have known that I really wasn't going to get that extra shot once I reached GM then I would have locked the skill at 80 (where it takes significantly less focus) and called it good.

    I'm so disappointed. :(

Search my history and see my 3 weeks of asking for a change / fix.... Because I knew r41 would kill ranged.

Btw.... rapid shot does 3~9 damage to anyone who's wearing half decent armor.
    :(
Not even enough damage to stop spell casting

101 is a lot more experience. Before persistence, I had it at 100 and it was 1.8.

101 is 4x decay where 100 is 2x decay. Right?

All skillgains get less effective effect magnitude/xp needed to level. Its a game mechanic.

AFAIK, that hasn't been implemented yet. Anyway, if we're going to get hit with twice the decay then what's the point? What's the point in getting it to GM?

Draw strength is the same. A .1 increase at 102.

What is it at 100? The devs need to publish a list of numbers so that we can make decisions about where we want our skills to be.

I am at 90 currently. It goes up .1 every four levels.

I suspect that it's exactly 2.5 at GM and actually 2.55 at 102 but the value is rounded up for display.

Does anyone know what the difference in damage and focus cost is for Rapid Fire between level 80 and 100?

Seems all of our rapid shots read different values based on attack speed

You have something different than one shot every 0.2 seconds?

Rend works the same way... you get an extra tick of damage (2 secs) at 101, 121, and 141 but you'd have to be paying attention as you level to know this (or have someone tell you).

Shouldn't the description when hover on the skill show the how much gain you would have if the skill were to grow by 20 level?

This is the game mechanic by design where the gain you get will be less and less after 80 while the XP you need to gain and the focus you need to use will increase at much bigger rate. So you will need to decide whether it's worth pushing the limits for the tiny edge gain. Hence it's sorta putting soft cap in a way.

I do not see any difference. That should be bug reported since there is no increase from 80 to 100.

Yeah that is a bug it should be 1.7 at GM since mine is 1.6 at 80 and then 1.8 at 120.
