Still waiting for game info to be cleaned up...

Edit: apparently there are some things that were fixed which I didn't see when I looked at the Steam page today.

I will look closer and re-post an updated version of my feedback when im back at the computer so i can be sure and be accurate about what i'm reporting.

 

Where are you still seeing inaccurate information specifically?

 

Yup, so as I expected, nothing which I pointed out 4 releases ago has actually been fixed for info. Everything I listed in my original post remains in need of cleanup/clarification with the one small exception of beta now being listed in the roadmap as late 2017 instead of Q1.

Everything else is still unchanged, and most alarmingly, the devs are still actively posting misinformation about wipes right there in the release instructions. This is not just outdated info that has been up for awhile and not gotten around to yet, this is new posts being put up with each release with instructions that are telling people to expect periodic wipes. I really hope this is not intentional to try and entice players from steam into the game by making them think the power gap they face will be eliminated with a wipe.

Re looking through steam it looks like you updated the base description on the front store page.. But every release instruction.. the Read More descriptions... the *What is early Access*....
A ton of community Hub stuff..

Really need to do a real pass on there as there is a lot of mis information on the steam pages.

 

Ok thank you for continually reminding us. I actually completely forgot about that "What's Early Access" section. Should be fixed now.

I also went back and deleted the "periodic wipes" from the last 3 instructions posts on Steam. Cut & Paste badness and not reading it.

It seems like a small thing but reality is its mis information to a person deciding to buy or not.

That is the date we went on Steam Early Access. That is systemically generated and cannot be modified.

• Crowd Sourced & Funded: Support the project by contributing content (and receive compensation) or by pledging (and receive exclusive rewards).

(Is there still a path to contribute content?)

Built using the Unity Game Engine, Shroud of the Avatar will support Win/Mac/Linux will open for full time access at the end of 2014. Backers have early access for a few days each month.

(Backers have access pretty much 24x7).

Yeah I think keeping on top of these info pages, especially Steam, is super important! Keep it up guys!
