AVG is labeling QA .Exe as a virus

I can't access my computer specs (should be posted in the QA somewhere if you need it I can find it) but I am using the free version of AVG, it has never done this with a game before, but I have tried to relaunch after that and it blocked it a second time.

It deleted the .Exe both times.

What I find weird is that I can launch the launcher no problem. It is when I click "Launch Game" that it refuses.
I just wanted to bug report this and get dev feedback before doing anything like allowing it.

After checking the regular server it seems to be exclusive to the QA server .Exe file.

I will provide screenshots of anything specific you need.

I can second this is happening. If anyone needs to bypass this for now: can solve temporary by starting AVG, Menu-> Setting -> Components, flip the components off for 10 minutes and start the launcher.

Does AVG indicate what type of virus specifically the QA .exe is reported as?

There is no virus in our executable. The issue is how Avast is detecting unity code.

@Attenwood Of course not - I was just pointing that out as a way to see what the false positive AVG was detecting it as, and a useful tool in general.

I had AVG for a couple of years but ultimately got fed up with the number of false positives. AVG requests you report all false positives to them via this form. Odds are Portalarium can't do anything since the problem is AVG's signature recognition.
