Ok where was this change listed and why it the range so Limited for Devotionals

- who designed it ? you have to jump to get a devotional. I should be able to at least walk to this small area and be fine and not have to use at other keys.




I know the range needed tweaked to prevent them firing off from just passing by but jerk the knee once more and bring the range up 1 - 2 squares.

I used to be able to run around with one hand and do it now I have to stop and use another key??

at the moment just jump in and bathe and let us see if it changes later.

 

Devotional buff areas have been reduced.

And that is all it says, the point is it was reduced way to much - overadjusted.

 

They should just change it to a weekly devotional instead of daily. Save me some time, I don't want to bath in the devotional Daily, I roleplay a really smelly, once a week bather.

 

Because it was triggering from like 5M away outside the pool? And in a lot of situations made putting 2 devotionals next to each other trigger randomly.

You might have to actually touch the water now. Not a big deal.

 

Personally, I like it! Now that you physically have to jump into it, there is no way you can accidentally replace one that you already had active.

You may think of it as an extra step, but I think of it as a preventative measure to not lose a current buff. Even if you just reduced it to 1 square around the devotional, you could still accidentally bump into it and then you need to reapply the one you really wanted. This actually saves you steps (in the case of getting too close).

BTW you sometime have to use that second key twice because you can still get the lesser buff.

 

I'm fine with it. Jumping in is very intentional. You won't ever accidentally override another buff.

I like it, before I was getting buffs I did not want.

It won't cure the "extra key" necessary to get the devotional buff, but you don't have to get wet.
Just run to one of the two cut-in "corners" and jump straight up.... You'll get the buff without getting wet at least.........

However, if they simply made it so that you had to stand still next to the devotional - for, oh say 2 seconds - that would solve the problem of "accidentally" getting a buff while passing closely by, without having to jump or jump in......

 

I mostly like it. The only problem I have with it is in some places they kinda "float" and it's hard to jump in.

 

If i wait 3 sec standing rigjt in front.. not in water works?

he means that as a possible solution to the problem of accidentally getting the blessing. That does NOT work ATM. Getting in the cut-out corner and jumping does though.
