    Will anything from alpha or beta transfer to the actual game. Or will everything (homes placed, skills, level) be wiped completely clean for launch day?

    Alpha will more then likely be wiped clean. Closed beta usually involves a clean wipe as well. Open beta it really depends if they use it as a soft launch or just a stress test.

    They have said there will be several wipes but they have not confirmed that there will be one prior to the game going live.

    I honestly can say I am seriously excited for this release. I hope that this game pulls me out of my current MMORPG/RPG doldrums. So far, from what I can see, I like my chances with this game.

    No they said they were going to try and get download out a bit earlier I believe. It won't be playable until the 12th.

    With them doing the P2P downloading, the more people that are online and doing it the faster it should be for everyone.

    I can honestly say I have not been more excited for a game to be released in my entire life, than for the sequel to Ultima Online!
    It seems after years of playing, this game is actually a part of my life, odd enough.
    Lets be on top of that download link!
