    There were plenty of talk of them back when we had hit persistence since many were trying out fishing. Nowadays most players who wanted to raise fishing has already done so and are waiting and waiting on any updates to add something to it.

    From memory alone I'd say that I've seen over 40 players talking about fishing them up. But since their effect is less than basic crafted ones there usually isn't much interest in them.

    But I think the concept is cool.

    Before persistence there used to be some necklace as well but that one was bugged and removed in the same release.

    I know a guildy of mine fished one up about 6 months ago and I tried enchanting it to no avail.

    If you could enchant it and have a chance for a major int + minor int + the built in passive int then it might actally be worth something ;)

    I fished that ring up in Ardoris around fishing level 62 - about a month before the first promise of a fishing update many moons ago. Still have it. Fished up black pearl once as well.

    My only GM is in fishing. I wager I'll fish up a golden fork before I see a fishing skills update.
