The fate of Knight Aldorn

I cant seem to find the amulet of testimony from the elves. I have killed 50+ of them and none dropped it. Am I missing something or is the quest bugged?

 

All I can say worked in R31. I haven't found the amulet this time around either.

 

i have found it but not in the camp i was expecting it to be in.

 

Questline in Resolute?

Knight Aldorn's Amulet is there, found it sunday, my buddy found it yesterday...its pretty easy and a random drop from every brigand/elve in Highvale as far as I know.

I confirm its working as intended as of right now.

 

Ive been killing in Highvale now for 4 hours and no amulet...... I am so overlevel for the area now I do not receive xp lol.

 

You still receive XP, just not very much. If not in your pool, then in a skill you have open and training.

 

This must be bugged since some people cannot get one and some people get more than one.

 

Is this just a side quest or am I SoL on a main line?

Finally got one

 

I have gotten three of those amulets off Vertas elves in Blood River Outskirts. So i am thinking you can get it there and then run it back to Resolute. Who knows. Thought it odd that it would show up there.

 

It was odd and a bug. Has since been fixed.

 

urgh, I was here 3 hours killed 100's, didnt get it so left. what a time sink, horrible

 

I just got this amulet off a random elf in Crooked Shank. Does it drops randomly off every elf in the game ?

 

oh, that's good to know, since i haven't managed to get one out of highvale

 

Glad i could help. Although i think that it's not ment to be like that. It's kinda against the quest lore. We shoud be able to get this from a looter just outside of Highvale walls, not some random elf found miles away.
I've spent almost 5 hours hunting elfs in Highvale, then i gave up and now i got it randomly while questing in a different lcoation.
