Locking down items to inventory!

    Great Feature, Would it be possible to add this to the multiple selection menu?

    ie : Select 5 items then right click and lock them down!

    when i tried that on qa a few days ago, it worked. is it not now?

    Tested on build 622, not working for a multiple selection, only working on single target!

    please, can you move the menu entry to the bottom of the menu?
    Other containers has 'use' at the top, and 'destroy' as the second entry. This would be more consistent, throughout the container menus.

    I really didn't care much because I never had an issue... until last weekend when I salvaged my fleet flute so now I care and its a good thing lol.

    Devil's Advocate here.

    Accidentally locking stuff, to me, would not cause any issues other than "Whoops, I need to unlock that first." I think that consequence would far outweigh the chances of accidentally selling/salvaging something that you wanted and are now unable to "whoopsie" your way out of it.

    Yes this is great and much needed, but if the item is locked, like a pet, you cant use it from the inventory or if dragged down to the utility bar its then blanked out. I think the item should still be useable if locked please.

    And the same with reagents, i had thought it was great, lock the reagents and then it easy to see which ones you have in your bag as they all together at the top, especially when looking under consumables...BUT....they then cant even be used :(

    So we are punished to protect a player from locking something down that they didn't intend? You know how much time we will waste collectively locking items down just because of this reason! Sorry, I don't buy it, lame excuse imo!

    Plus, if it is too dangerous to have a multi lock, then explain the reasoning behind multi delete?

    kinda feel like Equip should be at the top of the list of functions and Lock to Inventory should be below. Then have the ability to double click an item's icon in the inventory window to lock and unlock the item.

    if you lock equip in the inventory but have it equiped you cannot repair it by drag and drop. you need to unlock it before.

    Should i do a bug report or is this as intended?

    Its somewhat anoying, so for example you have different equip - i dont have - or just want to make sure that if you unequip it's locked in you r inventory - i uneqio my weps when i go salvaging for exampe and like it that they now are still locked. but i cannot quick repair my stuff while adventuring, i need to unlock it, then repair and then lock it.
    Possible from character window, but still annoying that you have to unlock it to repair it.
